Very big place for a tomb. Ataturk is father for Turkey. This place has his history and tomb for the respect of the people. It is about 4.5 stars. The place is big and needs 2 hours to complete. We just got one hour and we do the best we can. The guard changing should not be miss. Our tour guide point to us the best spot for viewing. It great to witness it. The long party has all the lion. Don't miss the museum and the great hall for the tomb. read more

My tour group stopped at Anitkabir in Ankara to visit the grounds, museum, and mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the father of modern Turkiye. The place is huge. We visited on a Saturday and it was packed with locals and tourists. The grounds are kept clean and the monument houses Ataturk's personal effects, as well as his final resting place. We watched the changing of the guards and strolled along the grounds. There is a small cafeteria for guests to purchase snacks and drinks. It is a place to show respect and has cultural significance to the Turkish people. read more

This is a free museum that is a tribute to the late and great Ataturk who is the father of modern day Turks. It's guarded by various and multiple guards who have been specially trained to serve here so it's very cool to see the change in guards ceremony. the museum itself is interactive and very large and discusses Ataturk's historical reign. Super cool to experience and see and I highly recommend when visiting Ankara. read more

Very beautiful monument/place to visit in Ankara. Great for day tours, groups, kids, etc. lots of steps so maybe not good for the elderly. I recommend you bring water and snacks, no food here read more

The final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk - The Father of the Modern Day Turks. I have been here quite a few times now. I think 3 times total. It is a nice complex and getting to see the guards marching is a treat. It houses a nice exhibition of the fight against invaders & has some nice autos that belonged to Ataturk from back in the day. If you're in Ankara....this is what you have got to see. read more
