I am surprised there are not more reviews of this gym.... Day One, I walked in,not expecting much, but keeping an open mind. I met with Keith, Manager, who sat and listened to me explain my recent injuries and setbacks, as well as motivations and goals. Keith provided a no pressure approach and offered a free consult with Trainer Cheri, who could provide an assessment and make recommendations. Still, no pressure to sign up. This was polar opposite from another local gym I had visited, as well as the current one I had been a member of for 3 years. I met with Cheri who did a walk through. An assessment of strength, motility, flexibility, and body mass. Maybe more, it was about 18 months ago. Cheri explained individual and group workouts, rates, packages. Also, no pressure, come use the gym separate from the extra instruction. I have worked out most of my life in one capacity or another. I have struggled with nutrition. And, I have faced injuries, many due to strength not supporting my goals. I have been solo on my journey of fitness even though I have had memberships at atleast 8-9 gyms in my adult years. Since beginning at AF, I have been fully supported and encouraged by management, Leads, and the Coaches. I work out primarily with Coach Emily who has been patiently pushing me, training me, and helping me to reach goals. Keith and Cheri continue to support through education, form correction, listening, creating programs. Coaches Spilios and Carissa jump in, train me when Coach Emily is unavailable, schedule conflicts, or simply to chat and offer encouragement and information. Management/Owner is not far from the lines, as they are present throughout the week, take time to get to know you and celebrate wins with you. Training: you can come in, workout on your own, or with gym buddies. Or, you can enroll with group classes. Either way, the facility offers free weights, machines, Kettles, boxes, ropes, cables, etc. I have no idea what all the equipment is called. But there is plenty. You can mix up your workouts easily. And, if I need to add to a movement, they have plenty of suggestions how to add challenge. There are cardio machines available, and have never had to wait. Facilities: I brought a friend who goes to a location on the other side of the state. She admitted, she would be embarrassed to bring me to her location based on cleanliness. The Team keeps up with the tasks to maintain a clean atmosphere.and, they recently completely updated with paint, and additional showers. Showers and restrooms are individual, no shared space. Tanning bed and water massager are available. Atmosphere: in 35 years of working out in gyms, since age 18, this is the first gym that I have sensed community. I have met other members. Cheer each other on. And, for those that are not interested in the "social" aspect, you still nod, see one another, and go about your business. The Team has created a friendly, supportive atmosphere, and somehow make their challenging you, fun. If you are considering a gym, or a new gym, give Keith a call. read more

This is a larger Anytime Fitness located in a small strip mall behind the Texas Roadhouse. I have been to this location a few time and it is always very clean and all the equipment is well maintained. The club manager took me on a tour the last time I was there (it had been a while since my previous visit and I am sure I looked lost) and was very nice! If I lived in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to make this my home gym location. There are not as many tv channels available here as there are at other Anytime locations (selected cable stations). I feel like every visit I end up watching a Lord of the Rings movie while on the cardio equipment. On my most recent visit, I discovered the hula-hoop. As a person who has been living in bigger cities for many years, and having access to large and well known gyms, I was not at all looking forward to trying to find a decent gym in the West Bend area. I didn't even think that it was possible. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I found Anytime Fitness. For a gym of this type, it was a nice size and had every piece of equipment that I could ask for. There were plenty of treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes. They all had their own tv screen. And, I have never come across a piece of broken equipment. As far as free weights and weight machines go, I did not find it lacking in any way. All of the equipment is new and well maintained. This gym is also VERY clean. Besides the fact that it is open 24 hours, I prefer this gym to even the bigger gyms in the bigger cities. The membership to Anytime Fitness is good at all locations, but so far, I have not been nearly as pleased with any other location. The other locations that I've been to have been little more than a closet with a few pieces of workout equipment. The West Bend location is the best, by far. Now, I look forward to coming back to West Bend (when I have to), because I know that I will have a nice gym that is 24 hours to go to. read more

Anytime Fitness in West Bend is an example of just how great a health club can be with the right leadership! The facility is always clean, with paper towels and antiseptic wipes always stocked throughout the facility. Up-to-date, state-of-the-art equipment - including cardio theater; Plentiful squat/bench press racks ensure the gym never gets congested. My wife uses the on-site personal training at the club and is thrilled with the service and results. The best part of this gym is the culture that the Club Manager - Lauren - cultivates. She is always running fun promotions and challenges to get everyone actively engaged. healthy potlucks, recipe swaps, even weekly football pick-em' during the NFL season w/ prizes make for a good deal of variety and chances to connect with other club members. You won't find a better value nor a wider range of equipment and classes in West Bend than at this club. read more

I only come here a few times a year when visiting, as my "home" gym is many states away. However, having been to more than a few Anytime Fitness facilities around the world, I will say that this location is very nice and ranks right up there. It is clean, great equipment, clean showers and bathrooms, and a very "warm" feeling inside from the flooring and colors. Separate yoga/class space and plenty of cardio machines. Be kind and change your shoes at the door during the winter. read more

many better options!!!! The promises they make are to disquise the truth. If excuses are what you want to pay your hard earned money for This club charges top prices and just doesnt add up. Maybe other locations are better but after this place I reccomend using a complete different gym! read more

Where it all starts and my headquartered location was changed without notice causing me to waste money. The location they moved me to didn't have all the equipment I needed to work out and they never reported my work outs for my health incentives. read more

A great place to workout. The staff is almost too friendly and if you have a problem they're always quick to fix it. However, some of the other patrons don't realize that this is a gym. When some people lift weights there is a good chance that they might grunt. Some of the older patrons don't quite understand that and will complain. Again, the staff here is very understanding of this and will tactfully inform you if you're grunting is bothering the not-so-serious gym goer. All in all this is a great place! read more
