This is one of my favorite gyms! I live in L.A. but every time I visit my family in Lima I get a day/week pass and it's honestly the best thing ever. I totally forgot about it this time around but I spoke with Ashlin and she was the sweetest. She completely gets how important working out is for so many of us that haven't had access to a gym since March bec of Covid. She was very accommodating and Understanding. Every time I workout out at this Anytime Fitness over the last few years when I visit Lima the experience is consistent, the gym is clean, the staff is friendly and there's ample space to workout. Sure, the equipment is somewhat limited, but there's a luxury in being able to exercise anytime you like. Also, private showers and a friendly staff make Anytime Fitness comfortable. Because it's a fairly new business, all the gear is cutting edge, with digital plugins and clean surfaces. Single-user rates start around $35. I'm a happy customer. read more

Kind of disappointed. For a place that is concerned with health, wellness, and fitness, members and guests are not required to wear masks

Excellent facility with lots of equipment that's in good condition. This is by far the best AF I've ever been to!

We cancelled our membership almost a year ago. I went in to sign when my two year contract was up. They said it would be cancelled and money would no longer be coming out of the account. It came out two more times and stopped. Last week we received a bill from collections saying we had not paid. I'm furious that after we have cancelled and signed saying our membership was cancelled they still tried to bill us. read more

When the Anytime Fitness opened in Lima, it was clean with cutting edge equipment. However, now it is somewhat tidy with outdated cardio machines. I love using ellipticals and they seem to be one of the more popular cardio choices for many of the members, but lately I've been having trouble finding one that isn't wobbling or squeaking during use. One of the free-form ellipticals had a balled up piece of gum stuck to the accessory tray for almost 3 weeks till removed just last week. The iPod hook ups on these machines are for models that I'm not sure anyone even owns anymore. It seems like the cleanliness and maintenance of machines has really dropped since moving buildings. The staff including the marketing director, the owner, and his family are very nice and caring. I had to laugh the other day though as I watched an African American gentleman (the on-site trainer) for 30 minutes as he was "training" someone by sitting on the treadmill next to them, playing on his phone the ENTIRE time. He would tell them what to do without even looking up from his phone. He was also dressed in some ghetto attire with a head cap and sagging shorts. I went to school to be a trainer and you dress business casual. That's just how it is. I was surprised at the lack of professional appearance allowed. read more
