I unfortunately procrastinated in submitting my birthday order timely, and with the Thanksgiving holiday upon us, they were quoting delivery 1-2 weeks out. I made my simple request if at all possible could they deliver in 3 days and to my pleasant surprise they did! You guys rock and the arrangement is stunning.

Amazingly fresh, well packed for shipping, always arrives at their best. Try no other place for flowers, I have because photos looked enticing and regretted it. This is the best, bar none.

some flowers we received (it doesn't photograph all that well with the greens, but this arrangement was meant to be muted)

This shop is incredible. We were in Maui while friends of ours were getting married back in Chicago. We decided we should send flowers (they were having the wedding at their house)... So we looked up a place and decided to drive there. On the way, we decided to stop at a shop in Paia. We told her where we were going, the lady knew her on a first name basis, telling us that Judy might be out but to call the shop if we couldn't get her and she'd try to call her at home... anyway, we went to the flower shop and it turns out she was on the mainland but was returning today (this according to an artist who works in the next door shop). So we left her a card to send with the flowers and told her to call (the card was a handmade card from the lady at the shop). Judy called the next morning..we placed our order, not really telling too much other than a price range and that it was for a wedding gift. Not even before we left Hawaii our friends sent us pictures of some of the flowers (several varieties of proteas)... They apparently shipped a box the size of the person putting the flowers into the box. Huge. Enormous... Our friends were delighted and used them to decorate. We visited them the next week to see more photos to learn they did indeed get a ton of flowers. A few days later, we were walking down Division Street in Chicago and saw proteas in the storefront window... We stopped in and learned that the shopkeeper "was at a friend's wedding and their friends sent them so many flowers" ... Too funny. We've since just ordered more flowers and again are very happy!

I needed to send flowers to California and thought these would be perfect. Reminded me of summers in Maui and they could be dried. I placed my order online and Judy was quick to call me to clarify when the order would ship and my shipping options. We worked that out and my friends were so pleased to receive their special flowers from the homeland. The protea looked healthy and fabulous like they would last for weeks! I ordered two deliveries and they both looked wonderful. I will definitely order from them again. Mahalo Judy! Maui no ka oi!

    Maui Gem proteas

I've sent several orders of the "Maui Gem" to friends and family in Hawaii and on the mainland. Have never been disappointed. Here's a recent photo from a friend in CA who was delighted with her gift of aloha. Thank you Anuhea Flowers!

This was the arrangement that was sent to San Antonio, TX. They arrived in perfect condition.

I placed an order on Monday and they were delivered on Wednesday to my sister in San Antonio, TX. The arrangement was better then the picture! I had also requested a card to be sent as well. They hand wrote the card! I'm so beyond impressed. This place is a hidden jewel!

I ordered the 8 stem fresh cut protea to make a bridal bouquet for my daughter. It was shipped all the way from HI to NY and received the flower in less than 48 hours! Emily and her crew were helpful, professional, and on top of that - generous. They granted my requests of pink mink proteas to add to the king protea and even added extra pin cushioned proteas! Love the flowers! I will be posting pictures of the bridal bouquet!

10-stem gift box--the photo really doesn't do it justice, the colors are more vibrant in real life

I received a bouquet-in-a-box from this shop 5 years ago and I still remember it clearly--the flowers were so striking. They arrived in perfect shape even after their long journey from Hawaii to the East Coast, and even though I'm no good at flower arranging, they looked great the moment I put them in a vase. Much less fussy than a box of roses, and thorn-free too!

But still highly…read morerecommend, we had a great experience learning from the wonderfully knowledgeable Punakea Palms team and snacking along the way. Not much walking-- the most is from the entrance/cafe area to the field with an outlook, where you learn about how the Dole family rekt Lanai's natural environment to farm pineapples (kinda evil). Frankly, the history behind mass agriculture and farming is pretty bleak-- you can't help but feel a sense of injustice for the native Hawaiians. Our tour guide was thorough, objective, while empathetic. From thereafter, you're sitting under an overhang while listening to your tour guide explain the stages of coconut growth & trying the different pieces. We tried: - Coconut water - Coconut jelly - Coconut meat - Coconut shavings ... All from coconuts of varying ages, getting the chance to see how each tastes different from the other. Kai even popped by with a surprise: fresh palm hearts! My bf and I frequently use canned ones for salads-- the raw flavor blew our minds. The entire "tour" took around 1.5 hours. The cafe in front is charming, lovely drink & food offerings alongside a gift shop. You can tell that the staff here actually care about the history of Hawaii and respect the island.

It is really sad that Hawaii, which has an abundance of coconuts, gets coconuts flown in from Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines because the labor is cheaper there. Jeremy was the highlight of the tour teaching us so much about the benefits of coconuts. We tried young coconut water to more mature coconut water. We got to taste coconut meat and shavings of coconuts (it was a great moisturizer for the skin too) I'd highly recommend this tour and the cafe! Cute little place. Please go out and support this local gem!

It was…read morereally awesome to learn how their mango farm works -- as someone interested in gardening, and especially curious about exploring the "food forest" permaculture side of growing food, it was really educational. She taught us the different plant groups that feed each other, and what order to plant to get the most productivity (and safety! We learned that papaya makes a good windbreak for smaller and more delicate plants, and agave makes a good firebreak!). I wish I lived in Maui because I'd be planting mangoes, papayas, bananas, coffee, and cocoa, RIGHT away. It was wild finding out how fast and tall papaya trees grow! These plants don't grow well in Seattle, but we are still going to take what we learned and see how we can apply similar features for our own food forest. I appreciated the very real perspectives about what works - as well as pitfalls and challenges with their food forest / mango farm. The tour was really interesting and fun, and we even had a resident cat named Tyson who took the tour with us! SO CUTE! The view there was beautiful, and though our tour group was tiny, I could see this being a fun activity for kids and families, too. Enough safe space for little folx to run around safely, and so much is stackable. She let us try mango (and wild mangos), ice cream beans (what an experience!), fresh coffee, and more. So good! They said they are going to do dinner parties here and I look forward to coming back to the Maui mango farm when we visit next time. Hopefully we'll have some good photos to show off of the garden upgrades that they've inspired. We really wanted to do something to support the Lahaina community (without being a disaster tourist, either), so visiting a regenerative farm seemed like an awesome choice, and I'm very glad we went. Bonus: since Olowalu was on our way back, we got a spectacular sunset, too.

We were greeted by a very nice couple and served a very refreshing glass of lemongrass and cardamom leaf tea to start to hear about regenerative farming. It was invigorating and soothing at the same time. It was especially helpful for me to get over the mild cold during this trip. The walk was very easy and informative and we wore tennis shoes but it could have been easily done with flip flops or sandals. At the end, we were served delicious box of star fruit, papaya, and different mango samples . Also, we were given some recommendations on good local eats, cafes, and bakeries and some or then we spent time ourselves to find!!
