I spoke up and said we had just received a text that they were ready to seat us, luckily two additional spots opened shortly afterwards but it really rubbed us the wrong way that the host completely ignored us after we had been waiting in line to help people who just walked in and cut the line. Another thing that wasn't great is that the host brought that couple menus and did not bring us any. We had to get up and ask him for some. Finally, the service at the bar was terrible. We had to ask to order and the bartender never asked if our food was ok or if we needed anything else. I've worked as a server before and I know the bartenders get very busy but we didn't even get the bare minimum. When it was time to pay and tip, the bartender filled our beer glass halfway... I assume as a "sorry for neglecting you, please still give me a good tip". Overall just a very disappointing experience from a customer service standpoint.
