We visited Antonio La Trippa yesterday, as our first meal in Naples- we were impressed. The gnocchi was very tasty and filling. Fresh baked bread served with olive oil was very good. My girls both ordered pasta dishes- ziti and spaghetti. Very tasty and decent portions. My husband ordered the swordfish and enjoyed it. The restaurant was very nice, and clean. The decor felt very cozy and welcoming. The service was great and the waiter was patient with our English and understood us. We were able to get a table fairly quickly for an early lunch without a reservation, the restaurant was accommodating to our family of 5 and our stroller. read more

We recently moved to Naples and stumbled onto this restaurant. We did not have reservations, but they made room for us immediately. We did have a waiter who spoke a bit of English and was very patient with us. The food was delicious and the wines excellent. We loved the presentation of food. We will be back read more

Excellent local restaurant, if you can't speak Italian or read it, good luck. NOBODY speaks English and that's ok. The restaurant is in Naples, HELLO. The owners tried their best to accommodate us but....... I wouldn't go back because I didn't know what I was eating. The atmosphere at the restaurant was controlled chaos, lol lol. After each course, people would get up and go smoke outside. The only reason this mattered was because we were sitting right by the door. In out, in out. We definitely stuck out from the crowd. Food was served in pots, big portions. We only had the antipasto and pasta, we skipped the main or 3rd course and had dessert. Desserts were made off property because we saw the delivery come in. Best of luck to your restaurant in the future, but I wouldn't go back. read more
