About 4-5 years ago we attended an Elton Ron concert at the Capital Theatre next door to this antique shop. I found some really old song sheets and music in a plastic bag on a bench outside this store. The store owner came by - his shop was closed it was about 10 p.m. - and I asked him if these were his left inavertently outside. He said "I don't think so but I will dispose of them" and he quickly ducked into his store. Right through to the back and I chased him around the building but he got away. If this is the same owner - tall, about 60 to 65 years of age, a bit heavyset - I warn you to be careful. And I will some day pay a visit and tell him to his face what I think if him. read more

Excellent antique store with 45 represented dealers. No junk - all good quality with an especially nice selection of porcelain objects and furniture. Prices are fair with occasional bargains, but this is not the place to look for cheap stuff. read more

If you are looking for furniture, this not the place to look, but if you are looking for clothing, jewelry, and tableware, this is the place to go to. There are three storied full of inventory that is well-organized. The down side is that a lot of the items are under lock and key. I guess that is your hint that the items here are of high quality. It was worth going off our course for. Give yourself a lot of time to go through it all. There are also some inexpensive items that your teenaged daughter can afford to look at while she is waiting for you to decide what to buy. read more
