There is something for everyone and I believe the prices are somewhat flexible. There are independent stands witting the shops and plenty of people to help you and answer your questions. I'd passed it several times on the tram and it's mentioned in one of the travel guides I read. What a gem of a shop. It's like walking into your elder relative's over-packed attic. It's all food-related stuff, but what a range of it! Definitely things in there I couldn't begin to identify, but the shop owner is kind and happy to chat. I found a small cardboard box stuffed with old Delft tiles. Granted, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure I paid about 25% of what they were charging for very similar ones at the upscale antique shops down the road. You can easily spend an hour in here, but take care not to bump into anything or you might get buried.

This store is not a tourist trap. Most of the pieces here are authentic Delftware. (Check the back if you're not sure!) They have every kind of porcelain you could want: tiles, dishes, statuettes, tulip vases, etc. The owner was probably about 80 years old and was following me around the entire time I was shopping to make sure I didn't break/steal anything, which was pretty entertaining. He was nice enough to wrap up my purchases for me, so I guess he didn't have any hard feelings :) 4 stars instead of 5 because the prices are pretty high. That's all great if it was true. The company they hire to process the VAT refunds for them doesn't respond to messages and when they finally processed my refund after 2 months of pestering them they took 35% of it as an "administrative cost" without any warning or authorization. The owner lies and says I agreed to this and refuses to even apologize. She only offered to send me the difference so I wouldn't leave a bad review and let others know about their shady business practices. Thanks for ruining a great experience, Leonor Binenbaum!
