We ordered tea, some bruschettas and cakes. Not bad at all. Food was good, service friendly, nice staff.

The place is divided into more rooms and two floors. The upper floor is under the roof so it can be a bit hot there if it´s a nice summer day. But it doesn´t really matter. Owner is a cool guy who is pretty good in bargaining but he is very reasonable. Anyway, that means that price tags are just tentative :-) Most of the furniture or decorations are in a very good shape and doesn´t really need any repairs. I bought there two Art Nouveau cupboards and a rocking chair for a very fair price. Delivery is not a problem. They don´t have a car but they have a guy who does the delivery for them so it´s not a problem to have the bought stuff at home till the next day or even in the same one. I can definitely recommend this place for anyone who likes old furniture and decorations.

It is packed with many many things to see everywhere you look. This is really my kind of place because I love to dig through the treasures. We bought a really nice silver corkscrew from the early 1900s and I thought the price was fair. The owner is very knowledgeable, speaks great English and is very friendly and happy to answer questions and discuss the history of the merchandise.

There's barely enough room to walk around in the space. One person with a backpack would likely crash everything down. I'm fortunate I could slither into the "aisles" as it was just me while I was in serious contemplation mode. Martin the shopkeep was there, something between keeping watch on me and eating his lunch behind the beaded curtain. He may come off as intimidating or unfriendly at first, but once I got to asking him about items he opened up and was extremely friendly. If you're looking for specific things, you'll have to ask about them. I ended up purchasing an antique Czech fountain pen that he allowed me to test out and even gave me a discount. Prices are on the higher side, probably because of location and gullible tourists, but it appears the items are authentic and not facsimiles. Hope you left some space in your suitcase!

Made my selections and waited for the guy with slicked back long hair to write up the sales slip. First he tried to add in an extra 20 Czech crowns without my noticing (always good to add it up in your head before you lay your money down). Next he refused to accept a credit card or bank card payment. "Cash only!" he said. The Czech couple who had made a small purchase just before me were permitted to pay with a card. Seems pretty clear that they view tourists as easy targets to rip off. I walked away from my purchase after this negative experience. Don't let them rip you off!
