I was confident that Dr. Cousino was turning her care over to a very capable successor. Dr. Jay seamlessly took over her care. His extensive knowledge was impressive. He has a no-nonsense approach, which I appreciate. He was honest about what needed to be done, whether it was difficult news or not. Dr. Jay was very involved in communication with her dentist and with oral surgery to well-manage the detailed plan to fix my daughter's teeth. Although she required braces, several surgeries and then braces again, he was always upfront about it being a long process. He didn't sugar-coat time estimates that would have gotten my daughter excited. He was forthcoming, extremely knowledgeable and took the time to get things right. His staff always did a great job and were really friendly. He always ran on time. My daughter's teeth look great. Dr. Jay did a fantastic job and I would absolutely recommend him. He won't steer you wrong or just tell you what you want to hear. He'll do things well without shortcuts. Side note-I'm an RN working for a major hospital. My inpatient unit includes Oral-Maxillofacial patients.
