We were looking for a new bed. He educated (beducated as he put it) on the benefits of a good night rest. He asked us a lot of questions and showed us the ones that he thought would be best. He explained why he selected the mattresses he did. We tried out a few and ended up going with a Tempur-pedic. The price was a bit of a scare, Steve explained how when selecting a mattress, it is an investment in our health which made sense. After we were finished up, my wife and I chose the Cloud Elite with the movable base. We love our mattress. I would have never spent the money that we did without being explained why the investment is worth it the way Steve did. We are sleeping great. Thank you Steve. We will be back in to buy the sofa and recliner we talked about.

What impresses me most about Conlin's in Aberdeen is the QUALITY of furniture they carry. There are…read moretoo many stores out there with stuff that looks good, but the beauty is only skin deep, and it may look horrible in 6 months to a year. Quality brand names like La-Z-Boy, Flexsteel, Broyhill, Stressless Gallery Chairs by Ekornes, Simmons BeautyRest (all of which I understand they have exclusively) reassure me that the money I spend won't be thrown down the drain, and they stand behind what they sell. Very friendly salespeople as well!

We decided to winterize the hot tub since it had not been fixed and gave Black Knight a second chance. We opened it in the spring to find it was frozen. It took over half a year for Black Knight to repair the damage they caused, then sent a bill to us. We refused to pay and Black Knight filed small claims against us. We showed up to court but Bob dismissed the claim that morning and never showed up. We now receive "blacklisted" letters from Bob. No worries Bob, we will never be there again. I record any conversations with Bob because he is a liar. Protect yourselves and get it in writing or record it.

After a second trip and more discussion I decided on a new table. Bob worked out a great deal including delivery and set up. The guys that set up the table were great and very professional. At first I just wanted an inexpensive table Sears or that level... I ended up spending a little more but I could not be happier with the looks and value of a true billiard table.

I received photos of each arrangement from the family of both of the deceased. I am always a little weary when ordering flowers from out of state suppliers because you can never be sure of what you get. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with both arrangements!!! I ordered the second arrangement 3-1/2 hours before the start of the wake and Boston Fern delivered them before the start of the wake. The individual(s) at the Boston Fern that took my phone orders were very congenial and accommodating! Thank you to everyone at the Boston Fern for your wonderful service at this sad time.

I am so embarrassed. Why would they even think a refund would make this right? Just say the arrangement is out of stock instead of setting your business and your customers up for such a bad situation. Also, was the delivery person color blind? Unbelievably poor product and service!…read more I don't live in Aberdeen, but was in town last weekend for a family funeral. To save time, I called in an order before I left for a funeral wreath listed at $150 on their website. When I arrived at the funeral home, what I discovered looked something like something that had been recycled from the weekend before. Several flowers that had apparently fallen off, and were indiscriminately placed back on. I'm not talking about two or three, there were dozens of flowers that were just lying on their sides on top of other flowers. I spent 15 minutes sticking as many back in as I could, the picture is from after that effort, and I still missed some. When I returned home, I discovered they actually charged me $200 for this disaster, I reached out via email. The response I got back was "once it has been delivered it is out of our control as to what happens to it", with no explanation of why I was charged $50 more. They actually blamed the funeral home. I have some experience with funeral wreaths, having the unfortunate honor of purchasing more than a dozen in the last few year's (this was my first for Aberdeen), so I know that flowers don't fall off like that unless you do a poor job putting them in, or you skimp on the number of flowers so they don't have enough volume to hold them in. I was born in Aberdeen, and I remember the people being proud of the work they do and the products they make, so I was surprised to learn that today's Aberdeen doesn't give a crap anymore.
