While doing the dental, they actually saw that she had a lesion on her tongue and that had to be removed as well. Dr Johnson and her team were in touch with me throughout the procedure to ensure I know how Bella was doing and the progress and findings of her procedure. I appreciate this so much, especially with Bella since she is 14 years old and has a stage 5 heart murmur. Dr. Johnson was also really great about discussing with me before we even scheduled the surgery ways that she would take precautions because of the heart murmur being so strong. I knew going into the surgery that every precaution would be taken with her and That. Her outcome would be positive positive. I knew that Bella was in the very best of hands. Thank God for Edge Animal Hospital! The veterinarians and the entire staff there are really great. They love my dogs and my dogs love them!

He's needed a lot of attention lately and is well cared for there. Dr. Johnson provided surgical care and I can't say enough about how thorough she is. Five Stars - Compassion Beyond Words…read more We recently had to say goodbye to our beloved standard poodle, Lola, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the care we received here. We had no prior relationship with this clinic. We were in an emergency situation and needed immediate help. They were able to get us in quickly, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion. I have had to put several dogs to sleep over the years, and as heartbreaking as this experience was, it was the most peaceful and beautifully handled goodbye I have ever experienced. They explained everything clearly. They gave us space. They treated Lola with dignity. They treated us like people whose hearts were breaking -- not like just another appointment. In the hardest moment of our lives, they brought calm, gentleness, and grace. I will always be thankful that Lola's final moments were handled with such care. Any family facing this difficult moment would be fortunate to have a team like this helping them.

Very happy with the vet and the whole care team. They examined our pup thoroughly, gave us some suggestions, and signed off on her prescriptions without hassle, all at a much lower cost than the other vets we've seen in the area. Also loved that when they had questions about the prescription, they texted me instead of denying it or waiting for me to call when the prescription wasn't filled. Glad we found our new vet!

Today, I was rushing to get there on time, forgetting my wallet and cellphone. I asked if they could just give our dog her vaccines, and then go home and call them to pay over the phone. They said, "No, it's our policy to have payment upfront for any services." I can not believe they would not make an exception after my history with them! Terrible customer service; you would think a neighborhood business would make an exception at least just once. If I were getting e new pet and establishing a very for it, then I would not use this Vet. In addition to the ridiculous situation that happened today, they are very expensive compared to our last vet with our previous dog (comparing to its fees at the end of her life and the same services with our new puppy: same time period so it wasn't "inflation"). They itemize every little thing to add to the "general exam," and I think it is because they are over staffed so they need to pass on the expense.

He spent his first two…read moreyears in a dog fighting world and he endured unspeakable horrors during those years, then he was rescued and spent 3 years in a crate, waiting and hoping to be adopted by someone who really wanted him. That's where I came in. Knowing that I was adopting an emotional basket case, I adopted him anyway, because I knew, that he needed me. Now rescue dogs come with a bunch of preexisting traumas. My Buddyboy was a basket case of traumas. I spent almost two years learning his traumas and their triggers, when a corneal ulcer revealed the fact that the vet I had chosen was more interested in their income, than his well being. My search for a new vet led me to Dr. Vega at Bayview Animal Hospital. Now Dr Vega did have the advantage of my writing My 'lil BuddyBoy's story including his traumas and triggers and sending it to them in advance of our visit, what Bayview did with that information was truly remarkable. When we walked in the door at Bayview for his first visit, it seemed like every staff member already knew who he was. Everyone, treated him like a rock star. They made him feel so special, like they were all there waiting just for him. It was one of the most heartwarming experiences of my entire life. The whole room exploded with their love for my pet, who they didn't even know (yet). Then, he met Isaiah, the vet tech, and Dr. Vega. These guys took care of business, but did so in a way that respected Mr Buddyboy's traumas and feelings so genuinely that no one could question their love for our pets, or their ability and desire to empathize with them. I have very limited resources and I can't afford everything My 'lil BuddyBoy needs. That didn't matter to Dr. Vega, or to Isaiah. They spent two hours with us. They did everything they could, and a lot more than most vets would have done to help Mr BuddyBoy. And at the end of it all, I received the most reasonable bill I've ever gotten from a vet. And before I got that bill, they'd given me a written quote detailing exactly what they wanted to do, and what would cost. And that quote was right on the penny, what they asked me to pay. I just can't recommend Dr Vega and the rest of the staff at Bayview strongly enough. Sure, they made My 'lil BuddyBoy feel like a rock star, but the truth is, they are the real rock stars.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and Dr. John was wonderful. The visit was especially helpful for Bambina and her little anxiety. I'm really hoping this will help her feel calmer so I can enjoy the water without her getting upset when I'm a short distance away. I also hope Anthony can enjoy more of his vacation, since he has been staying in the room with Bambina so I can spend some time in the water outside. Overall, I'm hopeful that she continues to feel better, especially for the ride home. They have some of the best-looking treats I've seen, I had to grab two not one, yet my dog won't eat them. Bambina is usually a very hungry dog and never refuses anything, so this is really unusual.
