Ansty is a fantastic place to go if you are starting golf out regularly. There is a challenging 18 hole golf course and a 9 hole par 3 academy course there is a fantastic golf pro shop with high quality golf equipment with freindly staff members who are there to help with minimal fuss.The clubhouse is open to all and has a great menu and drinks for the halfway mark of your round. Ansty Golf Centre is a great location for players of all abilities. Facilities include a challenging but fair 18 hole course, 9 hole par 3 Academy Course, driving range and an excellent pro-shop with a friendly team offering great advice and tuition. The clubhouse is open to all and serves a great bar menu as well as all the usual snacks and drinks to stock up with as you pass the halfway mark. A couple of small criticisms though The course boasts an 'always open' policy but during extensive rainy weather, there's really little point spending your money as the ground can get very boggy (particulary if you're like me and prefer to play off of the fairway!) On a similar point, it's a flat price all year round, so there's no concessions for the wet and boggy ground during the winter months. read more
