As for CADY the company my review is this: in regards to the digital package Option presented to me after paying for the most popular package session not using all of the scenes, but not getting a discount off of the price that I paid for the session. I think it is financially harsh to not offer digital packages in the same way that you offer print packages to force a parent to purchase all or none of the digital photos at a $900 price point on top of the photo session fee is excessive for this major milestone in our child's life and it seems a bit unfair and not consumer friendly in anyway. Offering a package with 10 digital photos for $100 or something like that is more palatable and fair to those who may not be in a financial position to pay almost $900 just to capture this milestone Especially if your photographer captures more than a handful of amazing shots (Again Allison H was amazing)!!! I think you should revisit this rip off option for senior pictures to market to all household income price points and not snatch away the opportunity for parents to brag about their child's milestones because they can't afford the picture proof.

Daniel Skelton was very unprofessional and disappointing over the course of our photography…read moreplanning. We booked him several months before our destination wedding in St. Augustine. He did an excellent job selling us his services and ensuring that he processed our retainer asap. However, as soon as we paid the 50% retainer, his professionalism and responsiveness discontinued. Every time that we confirmed an appointment he would cancel in the last minute. Since we were planning a wedding from out of town, we lost hundreds of dollars on hotel rooms and were left with no time for our engagement photo session. He would take weeks to respond to emails or would be very short with us, never once apologizing for overbooking or forgetting about our appointments. On our final attempt to make the services work, he cancelled once again. We decided to discontinue his services since our wedding was only 40 days away. We feared that with his history of canceling appointments he may not even show up the day of, leaving us without a photographer. When we requested the reimbursement of our retainer, he did not respond. When I was able to get in touch with him on the phone he would say that he did not know who I was and then would say he would call me right back, which of course never actually happened. His contract requires a cancellation via certified mail, however he has yet to respond that he received the letter. The one thing that remained consistent throughout our interactions was his lack of passion for photographing our wedding (after he sold us the package). He seems to look at the role of photographing weddings as more of a job to be done, with no real care for the story behind the couple or role in such a special day. Since he did not end up photographing our wedding, we cannot say anything about his actual work. However, I feel it is very important for future couples to be aware of what happened to us. We do NOT recommend Daniel Skelton Photography.
