Unfortunately, I received an email about 5 days before I was due to pick up the arrangement essentially advising that my selection was no longer available because the flowers wouldn't be in season the month of December. Huh? They explained that they would do their best but I asked for a refund instead. Apparently there was a website issue that allowed the purchase to go through but shouldn't have. Disappointed and frustrated, I placed a last minute birthday order with a large corporation and tried to put the matter behind me. Well color me surprised when the Flowers & Fancies team sent me an arrangement to apologize for the error. I was shocked, surprised, and necessarily reminded that mistakes happen and it's best to have patience and understanding, especially for local, well meaning businesses. She had all kinds of ideas that hadn't even crossed my mind like building an arch from branches, and putting fall garland on tables to enhance the scenery of our wedding venue. She was very nice and knowledgeable about flowers and arrangements. I know absolutely nothing about flowers, but I did know that I wanted purple and yellow, as those were my wedding colors. She showed us some bridal books and we flipped through the pages and decided on the sizes of the bouquets for me and my bridesmaids and also decided who else would get flowers in addition to my groom and his groomsmen. All in all we decided on bouquets for me and my three bridesmaids, corsages for both mothers, three grandmothers, piano player, and singer and boutonnieres for my groom and his three groomsmen, as well as both fathers, the pastor and my cousin that was going to be an usher. We also wanted a large floral arrangement for the altar at the church that we could take with us to the reception for the head table and three floating gerber daisies for each table (11 tables, 33 daisies in all) at the reception. Margie sent us a quote for the flowers a few days later and gave us three price point options for each category so that we could go less expensive, moderate, or more expensive where we wanted to. We stayed in the middle for the most part and our quote was about $1,000 including delivery (three stops: my house, the church and the reception venue downtown). My mom was expecting to pay more than $2,000 so I was relieved and satisfied with this pricing. A few days before the wedding, Margie emailed me to let me know what times the deliveries were for us and on our wedding day, they were delivered on time. The flowers were beautiful and the bouquets were lovely. It has been almost two weeks since the wedding and my husband's boutonniere still looks like it did the day of the wedding. Bel Air Florist did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for flowers that won't break the bank.

It is right around the corner from the church and the funeral home. They did a great job with the flowers, and even sent us a picture! Petals 'n Posies has an $8 delivery fee, which is totally reasonable - especially for a large funeral arrangement. Our price point was high (around $200) and they sent a gorgeous arrangement that went to the funeral home, to the church, and finally, the graveside service. They did a wonderful job, and I would definitely recommend for any/all needs in the area.

The delivered product was beautiful, looked like the model shown on their website and really captured the essence and color pallete I was going for. Price was reasonable since they used lots of flowers in the arrangement. Very happy with the delivered product. I include pictures of all the flowers I got from the 5 florists here so you could make your own judgement on the quality and value of each florist. IMO, Petals n Posies at Jonathans has top notch quality at reasonable price.
