She was great with our toddler during both sessions (maternity photos were taken outside and a local barn property and newborn photos were taken at our home). She is very talented, friendly, professional and responsive to e-mails/questions, etc. She was also patient and accommodating when I asked to change the newborn session date multiple times because of uncertainty around the timing of our scheduled induction. We are in love with all of the photos she took for us and are amazed by the shots she was able to capture. We know they're photos we will cherish forever. We definitely plan to use Kathleen for our future family photographs. My husband and I highly recommend Kathleen!

Joanna Monger was recommended to us by our venue's owner, Sharon. Upon viewing her portfolio, I was…read moremesmerized by the authenticity that was captured in her photography; they featured genuine, beautiful moments. They looked like lovely pictures of real, happy people - not overly-processed and cinematic. This is exactly the type of style I wanted for our micro-wedding. I generally dislike having my photo taken, and I'm notorious among my friends and family for refusing to be photographed during events. In spite of that, naturally I expected to endure many pictures on my wedding day. Even with my reservations, it all passed so quickly and easily! No feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, frustration, or impatience. To begin with, we had a Zoom call to serve as our introduction. My distaste for being seen digitally extends to video chats, but Joanna immediately helped put me at ease. She is an expert in her field and specializes in people who are less comfortable with having their photo taken. She offered logistical support in planning our day, as well as the emotional support that comes with having an ally who can understand your position and work with you. She is so kind and personable, which is perfect for those of us who are a little more on the timid side. In terms of the day of, she was already at the venue well before the rest of us arrived. In between taking some get-ready shots, she even helped my family member get into a very tight-fitting dress. I genuinely don't know if we could have wrangled that zipper up without Joanna's help! After that, she gave a brief lesson to my person-of-honor, showing how to properly fluff out my dress's long train behind me. Additionally, I noticed she was skilled with remembering the names of our close family and wedding-party members. Joanna is so organized and swift with her camera. Despite beginning our ceremony a little later than scheduled, she managed to shoot every photo we wanted within our tight timeframe of just two hours - with a few minutes to spare, too! She's also great at giving clear direction to help improve positioning and posing. And it all flew by so fast. She had our photos ready with astonishing speed (just one week later!), and they were just as wonderful as I had hoped! These are exactly what I wished our wedding pictures would look like. I'm so happy with the variety of different shots Joanna managed to capture, and I'm in disbelief of how well they turned out. I couldn't be happier with the service she provided to us on our special day. I would highly recommend her to anybody, but especially to others who might be less confident in front of the camera.

When I got married I struggled to find a photographer who understood the angles and posing of a plus sized bride and I was unhappy with my photos from that day. Now pregnant I was having the same worries and felt like I just couldn't love my maternity photos no matter who did them. I was so wrong!!! I had tears in my eyes when I received my sneaks, she made me look so beautiful! Even before I saw any finished images though, I left her studio in Mill Creek feeling so special and optimistic! The session was very quick (less than an hour) and she provided three different outfit changes from her gorgeous closet of gowns! One in particular felt so luxe and everyone I show it to wants to know where it's from. I would highly recommend Melissa for her maternity photography services who are plus sized or not- she will make you sparkle and laugh! I'm even more excited to meet my new baby girl now!

She was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry (which was an issue I'd been having with other photographers), and was very communicative throughout the process. When we arrived at her studio in Stanwood, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a newborn - dim lighting, soothing music, and a warm environment. The studio was super clean, and even had a bathroom with a changing station and diapers / wipes in case we needed them. There were many hats, blankets, and props to choose from. But what we loved the most was Ana's warm, sweet, gentle way with the baby. She's a baby whisperer!! I am really picky when it comes to new photographers but Ana was referred to us and so I thought we would give her a try. It was our first "mini session" and I was afraid a timed mini session anywhere would feel rushed (especially with a toddler) but we did not feel rushed at all. Ana was very patient and created a stress-free environment, she let us take our time with every pose, and even got our toddler to smile quite a bit (which in the past we found difficult for anyone else to make him smile). She knows how to work with little ones! She had great ideas for poses as well and also made sure there weren't any specific poses we wanted that were left out. I came into this session just wanting 5-10 photos but she delivered so much more and I'm so thankful we got copies of all of that because the pictures really did turn out great! We definitely feel like this photo session was worth every bit spent! (She even collected food donations and provided giveaways to those who donated). We look forward to working with Ana more in the future!

The quality of her photography is so immediately apparent that I never wanted her to stop taking pictures. It is so clear that photography is what Kimberly was meant to do, and for those of us that get to work with her, we are so lucky she's in this profession. Being a wedding photographer takes a certain skillset that Kimberly exemplifies a million times over. We are so fortunate that we only only got to work with Kimberly for our wedding, but for our engagement photos as well. Walking into those engagement photos a ball of nerves, Kim immediately made us feel at ease and gave direction to two people who had never done a photo shoot like that before. Our engagement photos turned out so stunning, and we had a great afternoon laughing and truly having a great time with Kim. On the day of our wedding, Kim was not only an incredible communicator and so prompt, but flawlessly wrangled the 12 members of our bridal party and the two of us getting married into some truly amazing shots. Her ability to give direction in such a clear way makes everything so much easier and taking photos before our wedding truly flew by. Her excitement to show you a great shot also adds to the excitement of the day - she is constantly keeping things fresh even when taking photos would otherwise feel like a long event. I cannot say enough great things about Kim and her second, Connor. They were so patient with us during the wedding and so kind to everyone who needed to be in photos, which, when you are taking family photos for quite some time, takes finessing and endless composure. Kim is everything. She also provided personal photo mementos at the end of the night that were entirely unexpected, so we got to leave our wedding with photos in hand already. I am so SO happy we were able to work together throughout our whole wedding. If you have the chance to work with Into Dust for any event you're planning, jump on the opportunity. She is the best!
