At the dock, Greg gave me and my family a quick, but thorough review of the boat and its safety features. The boat itself was spotless, and silent during the cruise. Cruising Annapolis Harbor and Spa Creek was a delight. A wonderful day, and a great value on the water. Thank you Greg and Sherry!!! I will be back.

At 8 AM the following day, I received a voicemail, an email, and a text message from the company stating that they were closed Monday and I should not have been allowed to make a reservation via their own website,. Obviously there would be a full refund, and they were very apologetic. I never received the refund and contacted them twice more during the next six days. Today I received an email from Benjamin. Tiederman stating that I would only be refunded 50%, which would not be received for another five days. This is fraud and theft, Along with basic incompetence and lack of ethics. I had to eventually submit a charge back to my credit card company, which will cost them extra money in fines instead of doing what they stated they would do. I've never left a negative review on any site so congratulations Annapolis electric boat rentals.

We booked the Fireworks from the Bay cruise on the Wilma Lee. It was the best experience ever. We…read morehave done the other sailing cruise from Annapolis several times, but this was so much more enjoyable. The boat is a historic vessel, the crew is knowledgeable and friendly, and they really put in a lot of effort to make it an amazing experience. We boarded at 7:15 pm, received the safety briefing from the captain, and learned the history about skipjacks oystering on the Bay. The ticket price included drinks (a nice selection of beers, wines, soda, and hard seltzer). Music (oldies favorites) was playing. They had prepared little goodie bags that included swag like little pinwheels and glowsticks and a bagged snack. They also passed out individual small charcuterie boxes with skewers of meat, cheese, and olives, plus a separate container of tiny crackers. The captain let people help the crew unfurl the sail, and he took us way out to see a visiting frigate. There were views of the Bay Bridge and lots of other sights. Around 9 pm, the boat was back in position for a great view of the fireworks. There is nothing like seeing the fireworks from the water. And the ticket cost goes to a good cause--maritime education and preserving this unique vessel.

Inner Harbor

Looking for something fun, relaxing, and possibly romantic to do in Baltimore? American Sailing…read moreTours has you covered! Glancing around Baltimore's Inner Harbor, it's not hard to fantasize about spending time on sailboat. Problem is: unless you've devoted serious cash to owning and maintaining a boat, or you "have connections," your fantasies will remain as such. That's when American Sailing Tours comes in - from the price to the convenience to the experience - AST offers exactly what you're looking for. I found the company through Yelp (I mean...hello!), and based on the description, I figured an experience with American Sailing Tours was beyond my price point. Well, I was wrong. For around $40/person, AST provides a semi-private (up to 6 guests) sailing excursion around Baltimore's scenic Harbor. Depending on the time of day, they offer different sailing experiences (i.e. a Sunset Sail, a Wine & Cheese Sail, an Moonlight Sail, etc.) - and each tour lasts around 90 minutes, unless otherwise specified. I recently enjoyed the Baltimore Harbor Sail on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend. Captain Tom greeted us at the gate (as the confirmation email had detailed) - and after meeting the four other people whom were also scheduled to sail at that time, we walked to board the sailboat. Captain Tom and the other staff member (I'm terrible - I forgot his name!) were both welcoming and kind - and we felt safe and comfortable, immediately. As we began to sail around, they played relaxing music, and needless to say, the experience couldn't have been better. 90 minutes flew by while sailing in Baltimore, yet I'm so glad I had the chance to do so! Thanks to the affordable price, and the memorable experience - not only did I have a lovely time, but I will most certainly be back to sail again. If you want to unwind, and sailing appeals to you - I couldn't recommend American Sailing Tours more! P.S. Regardless of the "type" of Sail Tour, they always provide non-alcoholic beverages. You're also welcomed to bring your own alcoholic beverage(s) and food, whenever, as well. P.P.S. Private charters are also available at an additional cost, if that's your thing. :)
