I picked up four really cute casual shirts for around ten bucks. The store is arranged in a fairly straightforward manner, from children's to adult's clothes as you walk in. Over the racks along the walls are the houseware-type items. There's a small side room in the back for the bedding and curtains. The front of the store has things arranged by size and then color within the size. Not many of the places of this kind will do that type of arrangement, but it makes it a lot easier to find something if you need it in a specific color range.

The aisles are decent, I suppose, but might be a problem when perusing the stacks if other people need to get by. There are two cats that roam freely, meowing loudly when they want attention, but do not otherwise bother anyone, unless they sense a kindred spirit. They kind of give this place a home-like atmosphere. I only had a few moments and that didn't give me quite enough time to figure out the layout, but things appear to be sorted by category and then by author, like most bookstores, but with some cross-over sections. The general fiction is in front. There's a nice mix of books within each category, and not many duplicate titles. Thimbleberry Books is a winner.

In fact, there's something in nearly every category where you'd want -- organic or natural. It's really a full-service health store, with all of the usual, plus organic and whole foods, some locally grown. There were brands I hadn't seen before and some I had only seen in mail-order places. In fact, I saw a mineral makeup brand I had a hard time finding outside a doctors office or getting via mail-order. I ended up discussing some options with the person working and she was able to give me enough background on the products that I ended up staying with my first choice.
