The AC worked perfectly...indeed perhaps too well. Front desk staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Occasional gruffness, but that's too be expected I suppose. Business center was helpful. Location is great, can walk to just about anywhere from here. Breakfast is a very nice spread consisting of various breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, eggs, some fruit and yogurt. Coffee was quite good. Diverse guests, including a tour group of elderly Brits who seemed consigned to complaining for the sake of it. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

We stayed for 2 nights on a recent trip to the Parma/Reggio/Modena area and the breakdown of our stay here is as follows: Pros: + Free (above ground) parking, with a paid underground parking garage available. Plenty of parking stalls and a safe neighborhood. + Close to a mall, with a big grocery store. Maybe a 5-10 minute walk, or a quick 2 minute drive. + The free breakfast was fresh, and had multiple options for guests. + Staff was helpful and made an effort to make up for minor issues. Cons: - Entering/exiting the hotel is a car accident waiting to happen. it is essentially a blind turn onto a fairly busy road, with your driver's view obstructed by the fence. - Ice machines broken during our stay, and no refrigerator in the rooms. This meant that we had to leave anything we needed refrigerated at the front desk. - The shower water temperatures fluctuated during the shower. Sometimes too cold, then it got scalding hot.

I stayed at the hotel last week with my coworkers for six nights while we attended a nearby…read moretraining. My coworker had a very bad sewage smell in her room and tried to sleep through it with the windows open because she was exhausted from our 14 hours of flights. She woke up the next morning with a headache and nauseous. When she asked for another room, they sent someone with Lysol. The owner screamed at her "No room for you! " several times. She had to sleep on some couch cushions on the floor in my room. The room is non refundable and even though she didn't use it we got charged. Had this never happened, we would have been fine. The ladies working there were beyond nice to us, especially the lady working nights. I think her name was Natalie. She helped us several times and apologized for the way we were treated. I would not recommend anyone take the chance of staying here and something going wrong. The owner doesn't care about his customers. It seems like the employees care more.
