Years…read more However, whether it was Covid or being absorbed into Luminis, they have become busy enough that good care only exists if you are lucky or very important. They are scheduling out anywhere from 2-6 weeks for appointments. Diagnoses for care are made at the scheduling level at times therefore restricting your care options. Calls for appointments, even recommended by a practice physician, require you to leave a message, so if you receive a call from scheduling TAKE it, and cancel everything including work to make whatever appointment they offer. This will provide your best opportunity for successful treatment. My first visit on this most recent issue was diagnosed based on X-rays and MRIs that were taken at least a year ago. 9 weeks later I still have no resolution to my questions or the pain that I experience on a daily basis. If you can find responsive care outside of this practice or any of its sister locations I highly recommend it at this point.

She is so warm and caring. It was as though i had known her all my life! She made me feel so comfortable. I had gone there for 4 weeks for neck therapy. My last session was this week and i can honestly say I am pain free. Thanks to the expert care i received there. Also Jamila's assistant Wes is also very friendly and very capable of picking up the slack. What nice young man! They work you hard but its for your own good. The atmosphere is fantas5with the different mucic genres daily! They love to sing. Its very comical. Just don't get Jamila singing the theme from the love boat! Hilarious! Seriously, great people! I arrived at the office 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment. While signing in, I noticed on the sign-in sheet that someone else was also scheduled as the same time as me to see Dr. Joly. It seems that the office triple and quadruple book patience at the same time for the same doctor. After waiting for over an hour without being seen or informed of a status, I inquired about being seen and complained about the long wait. I ended up leaving without being seen by Dr. Joly. I find it disrespectful for doctors to book multiple patients for the same time slot,and have their patience waiting on average longer than 1 hour. Healthcare providers need to understand the importance of respecting their patients by allocating adequate time, and seeing them in a timely fashion. Keeping patients waiting longer than an hour is unacceptable and disrespectful. When more people stop doing business with providers that are disrespectful, only then can things improve in the industry. Don't support this office by allow them to schedule patience and maintain an average wait time of over 1 hour.

I have been to the Bowie location a few times this year for two different injuries. I see Dr. Mustafa and find him to be pleasant and thorough, and he has a great bedside manner. As far as the wait time, it can be a little long sometimes. TIP - come on Fridays if you can. But then again it depends on which doctor you are seeing as they rotate between the different offices I believe. I also use the physical therapy services at Capital Orthopaedics in Bowie. Let's face it - when you're injured and trying to rehab there is going to pain sometimes. The exercises were explained to me in detail and also demonstrated. If I do something that seems to cause more pain than good I speak up. The exercise is either modified or taken out of the routine. My therapist, Cary, and his assistant, Danny, are awesome and they along with the receptionist (Debbie) offer lively conversation which makes it kinda fun :)
