I thought it would be best to go back to the shop to get it replaced. I went in, explained the situation and I was told because they are doing a piercing promo they could not do anything today. I again explained I originally got the piercing done here, the jewelry is in, I just need the stud replaced because I don't want to go to sleep and it get pushed further in. I was told "Im sorry. There is nothing I can do today because the room is occupied." I have multiple piercings in my ear done by different artists, this is the only one to come undone. For a business to turn away a returning customer who is coming back with a concern from previous work is truly poor business practice. And I cant imagine how they handle bigger issues/concerns. So many other shops in the area to go to. Save yourself the headache.

Upon arrival, my sister and I were impressed by how clean it was. The interior colors weren't dark but vibrant. The artwork on the wall wasn't intimidating, and the workers were present but definitely about their business. As we spoke to the front desk manager, she provided us with details about pricing, scheduling, and leaving a deposit. On the day of our appointment, we spoke with Tiffany about the design and she presented ideas of how to improve it. She was professional, courteous, and flexible. This being my first tattoo, she made me feel comfortable by describing what to expect, which helped to calm my nerves- her pink bedazzled tattoo gun helped as well. One thing I appreciated was the extent they took to sanitize the room after each person was done. All in all, Tiffany did an amazing job! She is a passionate artist who takes pride in her work. I also had a NY mets tattoo on the back of my neck and although I am still a Mets fan it's not much of who I am anymore so I wanted to get that tattoo covered up. So now I was researching places and they all opened up so late and my window of time to get inked was after I took my son to nursery school before I had to go into work at 1. I finally found space ace and called them up. I spoke to Marc and he said he could take me in at 10:30, I told him on the phone that I wanted to cover up the mets tattoo with a blue rose but than changed my mind before the work was started. I came into the shop and I had to wait a few minutes for Marc to arrive, I was a little early anyway. I think I spoke with the owner of the shop and he was very courteous. I needed to go to the bathroom and they're in the process of redoing the shop but he showed me the bathroom and told me to be careful because he just painted and so I was careful. When marc arrived I explained that instead of the blue rose I was thinking of I wanted a blue star and a maroon cross to cover up my mets tattoo. He played around with a stencil and a sharpee and showed me what it would look like before he started the work and I was happy with the drawing. Marc worked pretty quickly which is what I needed. I'm a busy girl and I need things done as quickly as they can get done. I was pleased with the work he did as well. I was also pleased with the price I was expecting to pay more for the cover up and coffee beans than what I paid but they were small tattoos and fairly simple so the price might have been right. I'd recommend space ace, especially if you want a tattoo done sometime in the morning because all of the other places seem to not open up until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. So mamas with kids in school if you want to get ink while they're in school come to space ace.
