this is my favorite art gallery ever and i cant believe there are no reviews on here. i have been…read morecoming to this gallery since it was previously titled "vynn art" and i have made it a point to go back at least 2 times a year since then. i can honestly say they have THE MOST AMAZING original local artwork. they have something for every budget, amount of space you have, and aesthetic. there are original paintings, prints, jewelry, photography, and posters to choose from, among other oddities. my favorite part is the art vynn supplies (the section all the way on the right hand side of the store). please do yourself a favor and go here!!!!

Alan Claude studio always has fabulous food for art walk night, tonight was meatballs and tiramisu. Delish!!!! I looked through the 8x10 prints to find some winter scenes to bring home. But did get a little overwhelmed by the amount people sharing the gallery and shop space and had to duck out. But! He always runs a really good sale for the 8x10s, where you can pick three for one set price. So I've made my list, I'm checking it twice and I'm sending my Santa back to pick them up. Nobody how busy the gallery is, Alan himself ALWAYS makes a point to greet every single person that steps in the door. He's also happy to take photos and sign art!

Some works are by full-time artists, others by amateurs, or people who just do art on the side. Because of the location, there definitely is a 'Maine wilderness' bias in the art, but I bought something abstract, for example. This is a multi-vendor shop which means there is a wide variety of items at varying price points. Books, tools, home decor, ephemera, art, jewelry, collectibles, etc. I don't think I have ever left empty handed. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and they go out of their way to recommend other vintage/antique shops in the area. Definitely worth a stop and make sure to take some time to really look through the drawers and ephemera (my personal favorite)
