I took both of my cats to Judith Herman. One, Ruffles, was elderly and was diagnosed with diabetes. The other, Sebastian, was a sickly kitten that I was fostering. Judith not only professionally and effectively cared for my cats, she was a compassionate individual. She came in the clinic late one night, from a holiday party, when Ruffles seized for the first time. When it came time to say goodbye to Ruffles, she came to my home and gently helped me let him go. She sent me a card afterwards that I still have, years later. If I still lived in Maine, I would still be going to the Animal Wellness Center. read more
