One of my cats never goes to anyone other than my husband and me, but she will go to Mara without hesitation. To me, that speaks volumes. I know they're in the best care with her and it's great that I never have to worry about rounding up 4 cats to take somewhere else. My dog LOVES Michelle the owner and all of his friends at Happy Pooch. Michelle does a very good job of reading the dogs signals and ques and can predict a situation before it happens. She introduces all new dogs or dogs that haven't met before indivudually to each dog there to ensure they will all get along. Her space is very open but yet she has several different areas for the dogs. It is clean and very well run. I highly recommend Happy Pooch for both daycare and boarding. When you board with Happy Pooch, Michelle takes the dogs home with her, they aren't left alone overnight at the facility. I'm very happy to have found Happy Pooch and highly recommend it.

So here's the thing. Cheap convenient kennel near the base. Perfect for drill weekends. Does the…read morejob. Now here's the problem I had. I needed specific times to pick up my dog. Turns out those times were outside of normal work hours. I was just going to find another place, but the wife of the business insisted and told me this was ok for the two weekends I needed. Awesome. First weekend. No problem. Second weekend? She comes out and along with her comes her husband. He demands me step outside and talk to him. He lectures me like a child on how I'm to call if I'm picking my dog up outside of hours. I try to tell him i worked this out with the lady and he cuts me off and tells me no I didn't and continues his point. It's clear that he's the type that can't be wrong even when he is. This was embarrassing and unprofessional and the wife must not have a backbone because she didn't even speak up to defend that WE had made a deal in the first place. Won't be using again. I have literally created a Yelp account for this one review.
