I got a cover up tattoo from Dave on Tuesday and I was happy with it. BUT then on Friday I went…read moreback to get a sunflower tattoo. What a huge disappointment. When he finished the flower I mentioned I didn't think it was dark enough. He said it'll be ok once the blood stops.... Nope!! It looks dull and unfinished. Which it actually is in the middle. He didn't finish that part and he put very little green in the stem and leaves. When I spoke to him about it, the first words out of his mouth were "you signed the paper before we started" then proceeded to tell me it was my fault because the picture of the tattoo I brought him was one that was already on someone's skin. He just kept rambling on and on about how it wasn't his fault. After about 7 minutes of that he said well you can come back in within 6 months and get a touch up for free if you don't screw it up before that. The first thing he should've said was I'm sorry your disappointed, how about you come back when it's healed and I'll touch it up. Not quality work, not professional, not the place you want to get a tattoo.

I chose this tattoo company because of their 5-star rating. I made an appointment online for a…read moretouchup with Sam, and was charged a $125 deposit. The website explained that depending on the work being done, you would at least get some of the deposit back. On the day of my appointment, I waited for 30 minutes as Sam wasn't there. Apparently, the website never alerted him to my booking (I had booked two days prior). I was frustrated that the website could charge me a fee but didn't alert the artist of an upcoming session. Sam got in touch with me apologizing for the website not working and wanted to reschedule the appointment. I was frustrated at this point and asked for the deposit of $125 back. He said he would get it to me asap. This begins a back and forth for about a week and a half of the deposit not being refunded. During this time, Sam and I texted back and forth, and I decided to make another appointment with him and just to forget the $125. So we made an appointment, and I got to the shop a few minutes early and it was closed. I waited 30 minutes outside before sending Sam a text asking if he forgot the appointment. He texted a little while later citing a family emergency. I understood and we agreed to get in touch with each other in a few days. Well, I was hit with a medical bill that I wasn't expecting so I texted Sam that I needed the $125 more than I needed my tattoo touched up. He reassured me that week that he would get it to me. Every day he reassured me that I would get it the next day. I never did. Then I was given excuse after excuse after excuse. When you make a deposit, that isn't money for the owner to spend. He basically stole my money and never gave it back. It's been about a month and a half and I still haven't gotten anything. He just kept coming up with excuse after excuse after excuse. Horrible business practice and horrible customer service. At this point he needs the money more than I do (and I do not have a lot of money, but I saved up to treat myself to a touchup after a very painful few months). DO. NOT. GO. HERE.
