Troy to the rescue !!! While in Pinedale WY for my annual visit to my older brother, I had a little…read moremishap. My 9 year old granddaughter accidentally locked my keys in the trunk of my car. It was 9:30pm on a Saturday night, and I called the only Locksmith in the local listing, and the only others were in Jackson or Riverton. No answer and his messages were full. I called my oldest son, who is a locksmith, for his input. He said to call a towing service or maybe the local Sheriff. I found Troy, who answered his phone, and I described my predicament. He told me that he was no lock expert but would come and see if he could help me. We wrestled with it for over an hour and finally got in after waking up everyone in the hotel with my car alarm. He disconnected my battery, we folded forward the back seat and and my little lady crawled in with a flashlight and retrieved the Keys. I was 1600+ miles from home with 2 granddaughters and panicing, so finding courteous, professional help at such short notice was nothing short of a Godsend, a miracle in Ford Diesel, that's what he was. We recently had some work done to an other vehicle and I had serious sought as the the validly of their claims and struggled going back there for a simple recall they were to perform. In doing this they had plug the truck into a hand held diagnostic computer and I was charged 185 for that before any work was done at all to the car. Spare yourself the time and money and go to A1 auto parts they will plug your vehicle in for free and sell you some DEF for a fraction of the cost.

To make a long story short, I had starting trouble with my Ford Explorer and was stranded in Pinedale, Wyoming. Due to the oil and gas business, along with it being the haying season, all of the repair shops were swamped with truck, pickup, and equipment repairs. Luckily I managed to get my Ford Exploder out to Troy's shop near the airport and he worked me in to his schedule. A couple other folks looked at it briefly, and I did not have an official diagnosis, but there was a good chance it was the crankshaft position sensor. Troy was friendly and understood my situation and cheerfully replaced it for me. He charged a fair price and did the job quickly. I made it home with no issues and the repair solved the problem.
