One nurse in particular, Lacey, was in and out of room, all night, making sure compression device was working. Then a mid night visit from the surgeon checking on his handiwork. Angels of mercy are everywhere in the surgical unit: Cheyanne, Alyssa, Taylor,Jessi, Laura, Ashley. Tasha, respiratory expert, made sure patient could breathe throughout the night. Above and beyond? These angels sent out an MIA for a 100 percent cotton bedspread which went missing after surgery. Due to patient polyester allergy, it was of major concern for return of bedspread to patient. Not many cotton items out there. This spread was a lifesaver in the past. To choose to be a nurse where respect is lacking, one must love the job. Thank you angels. EH

At first, they said it was a TIA. They did NOTHING but give him an IV, and he was in the ER for hours before they did testing to determine it actually WAS a stroke. Then they waited almost a week before surgery on his carotid. The second was for a mild heart attack. Again, it took several hours to get test results while doing NOTHING in the meantime. The third time was for sudden loss of vision in one eye. It was FOUR HOURS before they even had him read an eye chart and almost 90 minutes more to get into an exam room. I'd say at least 40 people were taken in front of him, and he was there several more hours. All they did was examine the eye and give him a reference to an opthamologist. What's bad about that is that sudden vision loss is considered an emergency, especially in a 69 year old diabetic with a history of stroke. He was not treated like a patient. He was treated like an inconvenience.

Horrible experience. Took mom there for a 3:30 appointment. Seen by a young woman at 4. She asked a…read morefew questions and had Mom read two lines from each eye. Put numbing drops in her eyes and told her to wait for a test. Mom has Parkinson's and dementia. Very evident just by talking to her. At 530 Mom was given the test which was inconclusive due mainly to her condition. It was obvious to the lady giving the test that she could not complete it properly but she the lady pushed through it and forced the issue. Wonder what that bill was to Medicare. Finally seen by the doctor at 6pm. He had no idea what to do. He kept asking me what I wanted. He is the doctor but wanted me to decide what drops to change or keep Mom on. He was so indecisive I told him he was the doctor and not me. His question to me was "Do you want me to decide". So we got up and left. So we waited over 2.5 hours and the doctor didn't know what to do, prescribe, say? Ect.... So so so indecisive. Good thing I was there. I cant imagine how you are taking advantage of the elderly that cant stick up for themselves............. Your office sees 300 patients a day. each doctor sees 40-70 patients a day. Wow.. I expect so resolution to this issue. You know the doctor who saw my Mother Patricia Ceo. 300 patients a day I'm guessing at least 1K per. So u are pulling in 300K a day from Medicare. Seems like a meat market to me. All elderly people. Very cold in your waiting areas. I am extremely upset.
