Angi's is a little hidden gem. Tucked away on Main St. is a genuine Mexican restaurant. Bare bones seating, mostly take out but don't be fooled the food is delicious. I had Mexican Tacos and they were amazing. Give it a try. read more

Real authentic Mexican food!I would dare say the best mexican food I ever had. Nuff said.

Excellent food, great place for lunch. Hours change a lot with holidays...never know when they are closed. I'm assuming a family owned business if you want to support your local community. read more

We loved the food here. Authentic Mexican food that you don't find on this area very often. We will be back!

We found this spot while house hunting, this little place is great!! We thought we'd found a secret gem after getting off the road at night and happening upon it. The ceviche won us over and we scarfed it down in the hotel room. The tortas, enchiladas, street corn- it's all so perfect. The family and everyone there is so friendly and helpful and fast service for how busy they are. Still haven't eaten in, the presentation is very fancy if sitting there to eat. read more

Delicious! Family run I believe dishes are from Baja Mexico. I ordered the shrimp tacos which were very good My husband had enchiladas. Different than Tex Mex and very tasty. We will eat here again read more

I love that we have a quality, authentic Mexican restaurant on Main Street. While we often get the food to-go, which is very convenient and quick, the food has always been great and consistent. There's a good variety and everything tastes amazing! read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by the desk clerk at the hotel. So glad we tried it!! It's a counter service restaurant and that lowered my expectations. It might not be ideal for a date night, but it was great food at a great price! (More to be added later) read more

Their ceviche is amazing and so are the shrimp tacos! It is very different from the traditional sit down Mexican restaurants. This food is like family recipes and is real and authentic and absolutely delicious! It is worth the wait time! read more

Wonderful food. Good prices. Good service. Enjoying their bigger space and additional seating.

This spot was mentioned to me by a friend. I have 1 day off so I planned all week to stop there for lunch. OMG!! What a sweet little family run place! Very clean and friendly. I questioned them about all their dishes, how they were made etc... the tortillas are flour tortillas and they are house made to order. Their tacos are also homemade. Their guacamole... OMG was made as I waited for my order. And it is piled on to perfection. Oh! And all their shrimp/fish is local wild caught from NC. Their philosophy: it is made if they were to serve in their home to for friends. Never have I liked Mexican food, this place changed my mind. And I will go again to be sure. read more

While visiting from Arizona, I went here for dinner. I ordered the Shredded pork Torta. It did not disappoint. I also had the shredded pork nachos. Those were a little salty but the pork had a very good flavor. Loved the Horchata. I will definitely return to try other menu items. read more

Angi's Mexican Kitchen - Menu - Mexican Near Me - Washington, North Carolina

My husband and I went to Angi's Mexican Kitchen for dinner tonight and so glad we did. The prices were so reasonable our expectations weren't too high. We just wanted a quick inexpensive meal, but we were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our menu choices. I had the pork Sope and my husband had the steak Sope. The dishes were colorful and fresh, tasty and filling, very authentic Mexican food. I have difficulty with spicy food and asked the waitress what gave the dish the kick. She said it was the seasoning they used in the marinated onions . Sure enough, she was right and once removed the kick was gone, just full flavor of the meat and veggies. We will plan to go there again before we leave town. I highly recommend, but you may have trouble finding the restaurant because it is in a suite with other businesses on Main Street but it doesn't have a storefront on Main Street. read more

Angi's is an outstanding addition to downtown Washington. The real deal. Eat in or out on the back area. Convenient and quick. Prices should be higher for what you get. Would easily pay twice the price. read more

Delivery is always fast and the service is great. The food is even better! I order from here almost weekly.

Got there at 12:10 pm on a Saturday. Placed a to-go order and waited for 45 minutes for 3 tacos and a torta (sandwich). The inside and outside was packed with customers. From what I could tell they have a tiny kitchen and only 2 people cooking. The other 3 people are taking orders, bringing food to the tables, or delivering food to other places (they now do delivery). The shrimp and chicken tacos were the bomb. Anita's in Greenville makes a much better torta. All-in-all I would go here again but probably arrive right when they open (11 am I think). I like that their tortillas are homemade, but they don't double up on them for tacos, so the wetter meats/fillings tend to make the tortillas soggy and break while you're trying to eat them. read more

Oh heck yes! The food here is outstanding. If your lucky enough to be there on a Friday & they have homemade tamales, definitely get 'em! The birria is excellent!
