Top 2 worst pizza I've ever had. Cheese looked like it was sitting there for hours and didn't even look like they took the time to reheat it. Below domino's quality.

Pizza was delicious, service was awesome but they let homeless people sit in the restaurant and talk crazy to you. i saw a man bleeding from his bare feet while trying to enjoy my pizza I am giving 5 stars despite the homeless lady yelling at me because Larry was so friendly and awesome!!

This place was classic! Lee was Amazing to talk with. I have not had Italian food like this and it really long time. The portions were very big. The restaurant had a sports bar like atmosphere. The service was outstanding! Follow the Flavor!

Well, we've gotten a call and take out order here once and the guy couldn't understand the difference between the sauce and a calzone versus a Stromboli. However, tonight we decided to go in because I didn't want the order fucked up anyways, the man seemed very overwhelmed and was very unfriendly and even when I spoke to him and what would be a native language... Italian but anyways Here some pictures and I'm not gonna say much else because you know maybe he just has had two really bad days.

Me and my friends enjoy coming to this place every night after partying. The food is good, the service is nice and the ambiance is cozy. Really nice Italian restaurant for those afterhours craves. The food is always done quickly and there's always multiple available sits around. Definitely would recommend to enjoy if you have been hanging out until late in St Pete.

The best late night spot in st.pete, I order delivery often and the food always arrives fresh and hot. Bar seating, several booths, and pool tables. Wings are solid as is the pizza, huge variety of foods on the menu and they're all done pretty well. Very good value for the price. This has been the saving grace of downtown's service industry folk since probably before I was born. To-go service is quick and friendly. Parking isn't as much of pain as other spots downtown. Ambiance is definitely a locals pizza pub vibe. No complaints here!

While next door at St. Pete Brewing I was in need of a little snack and Angelo's just so happens to have fried mushrooms. The price is a little high for 1 order but I was willing to try them. I am giving a 3 Star based on that the mushrooms were super small in size and either they were over fried or the oil used was old. I would say for the price it is not worth it. If we are in the need for late night pizza, we would try this place. As for now the review is based only on the mushrooms.

One of the best New York pizza places I have found in the Tampa area. Large dining room and bar area with great craft beer and wine options and full bar. And they are open till 330am every day! Making this a wonderful after party location. They are open daily 9am - 3:30am serving breakfast lunch and dinner. But for me the pizza was the star of the show, we got a New York style pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. Loved the crust and sauce. It definitely reminded me of New York pizza and being from New York City, I'm an expert. They were showing the lightning game with sound on so that made this place even better for me. Street parking available around the restaurant.

A classic pizza place with a nice bar in downtown St. Pete. Met some friendly locals and friendly staff. The pizza did not blow my mind but it was great to have at the end of a night of drinking. We met a guy that was from New England. I don't know why but he reminded me of the movie Jaws. We were singing the song from Jaws when the dudes get drunk in the boat. Show me the way to go home, I'm tired and I want to go to bed, Cuz I had a little drink about an hour ago, And it's gone right to me head, No matter where I roam, On land or sea or foam, You will always hear me singing this song, Show me the way to go home.

I am on a mission to visit pizza joints that serve slices, there something about ordering a slice and heating it that makes the crust crispy. As I walked in I was not aware Angelo's was a pizza place and bar, bonus. I was there around two in the afternoon on a Friday, my typical time to grab slices. I sat at the bar and had no problem making my request. I ordered two slices and a coke, and later a Rolling Rock. They were big slices, crispy thin crust. The cheese and sauce were quality. Reading some of the other reviews I did not experience any poor service or attitude, even the people that were sitting at the bar struck up conversation with me. Based solely on my slices, I do recommend this place.

I ordered the cheesesteak with onions. I also ordered some cheese sticks. My wife ordered a pizza. The following is one guy's opinion: 1. My cheesesteak with onions was terrible. They used a weird type of bread with sesame seeds on it. It was kind of hard too. Also, it was way too much bread for a cheesesteak in my opinion. It was a really bad choice to wrap cheesesteak with. The chopped onions on the cheesesteak looked gray. The whole thing just looked unappetizing. As I feared, the bread doesn't compliment the cheesesteak. I only ate about a quarter of it and took the rest to go. To their credit, the restaurant does have a sign that says if the food is a flop, to return it. I didn't. I don't like telling restaurants that their food sucks. I just don't come back. I took it home hoping to find a homeless person to give it to, but didn't see anyone so I threw it away. 2. My wife is a cheese stick fanatic. She's always looking for the perfect cheese stick. However, the cheese sticks here also were disappointing. The breading on it was too thick and didn't taste good. I think it was a bit overdone on the outside, but not done on the inside. The cheese inside was not melted or close to being soft or slightly melted. It was the consistency of a piece of cheese that was left out at room temperature, soft, but not melty as a cheese stick should be. It was merely a warm piece of cheese wedge covered in a breading that also didn't have much flavor. I think it's because they were overly done. They were on the darker bitter side that you get from frying something too hot and fast yet the cheese was not soft. Were they frozen and that's why they cooked that way? I don't know, seems that way. 3. My wife liked her pizza. I had a slice because the cheesesteak was a fail for me. The pizza was ok. Nothing special. They do their pizza "well done". For some it may be too well done. My wife likes her pizza well done so she liked it. The place was also expensive for what it is and I felt kinda cheated for spending almost $70.00 (not including tip) for two drinks, a crappy sub, a small pizza, and some cheese sticks. I went, I saw, I conquered, but won't be back. Sorry violet stone. Go check out your competition and change some things.

The garlic bread tower absolutely deserves the hype. Same with the mini rigatoni and meatballs. Very rich, very comforting, very "I'll just have one bite" and suddenly your plate is gone. Also already convinced I need to go back for the chicken Milanese and ricotta donuts because apparently everyone leaves emotionally attached to them. The whole place has that upscale-but-still-fun energy where dinner somehow turns into staying way longer than planned. The combo sounded weird to me at first, but trust the locals -- the sweet Italian sausage paired with big dollops of creamy ricotta is straight-up addictive. The crust is thin, crisp on the bottom, foldable but not floppy, with just the right amount of char.
