My original intention was simply to meet with Romain for one specific healing session. But after…read moresitting down with him for a consultation, I was surprised--his guidance was not at all what I had expected. I left feeling confused and even a bit frustrated (classic ego versus spirit). Still, something deep within nudged me to trust the process and follow his lead--and I am so grateful I did. Romain is authentic, intuitive, and deeply wise. I experienced the most beautiful Reiki session with him, and I was genuinely in awe of what he picked up on during our time together. It felt as though I was truly seen and understood--perhaps for the first time. Though I know I have a long path of healing ahead, I now feel certain that Romain will be an integral part of that journey. Give yourself this gift. If you're seeking clarity and peace in a world that often feels noisy, dense, and chaotic--start here. Romain's guidance will meet you exactly where you are and gently help lead you to where your soul is meant to go.

For those who are already comfortable working with someone like Romain I will simply repeat what…read moreothers who are like minded have said to me about him, "he is the real deal!" What I really want to do with this review is share with those who are more like me, who have never even considered something like energy work. Those who have perhaps even maligned it and thought "well, that is nonsense." Logic and analysis were more than a simple cornerstone of my life they have always been the utter foundation. So much so that I am a theoretical mathematician, so logic is how I support my family as well. In November of 2022 I was heading back to the second day of a 2-week solo beach trip from the funeral of my sister-in-law of almost 40 years, after her unexpected death. I was so weary from many "set-backs" including my own cancer and the death of a niece both in 2017. I have always been one who claimed, I can't meditate. On the drive from Charlotte back to IOP, I quite suddenly had the thought, "I am going to find someone who can help me try reiki and learn to meditate on this trip." The next morning, I typed it into Google and without reading much under each listing I simply picked the listing my intuition led me to choose. There was a short "contact us" form on which I only said something like "I am trying to learn to meditate but seem to struggle following some big events in my life such as cancer." I heard back fairly quickly and was astounded when Romain replied, "I think you might struggle with meditating at this point and likely need to consider some energy work first." I was astounded because he was so very right but how could he know that from the little I said? I saw Romain that day and for the remaining 9 weekdays of my trip. It was the beginning of what has been a life changing evolution. I made 5 trips, as opposed to my usual 2, to IOP in 2023 so that I could work with Romain in person. We were also connecting on Zoom most weeks while I was at home. For me the "job" was huge so the time commitment was necessary. I have "only" been to IOP 2 times so far in 2024. I won't bore you with the details but I can say I am, perhaps for the first time in my 59 years, at peace. Not every second of every day but there is a new foundation of my life and peace is a big part of it. It has been my experience that there is no greater gift you can give yourself than to take advantage of the amazing opportunity to work with Romain. If you allow it, your life will be so much the better for it.

Approaching my 50th birthday, I started having some midlife anxiety about looking older than I was…read more I did research online and locally looking for the best options to turn back the years on my face. There are plenty of options near me, but none that had the before and after results I found on Aristocats studio Facebook page and website. I set a consultation appointment and eagerly waited for the day to come. It was time! When I walked into the studio I was greeted by sweet Missie, one of Kim's assistants. Then I had the absolute pleasure to meet Kim. I asked her about all the options available to me for what I wanted to achieve and we ended up going with Plasma Fibroblast to give my face the lift and volume I was looking for, and the cost was a fraction of what I would have paid for Botox or most fillers or lasers with results only lasting so much longer. The procedure lasted most of the day, as she takes her time to do the process properly to get the best results. Anyone with a plasma pen can put dots all over your face in a hurry, doesn't mean you'll get the same results as with the education and experience Kim has in her tool belt. Never once did I feel hurried. She fed me lunch of my choice and even allowed me to sip on some wine to calm my nerves. My face looked like Holy Heck for about a week, BUT then it was mostly healed and the results were way beyond what I was told I could achieve as she made it clear that some people may need more than 1 session to get more substantial results and even her doing the best job during procedure, I also had to do my part in the healing process for maximum results. I followed her directions and supplemented daily w larger doses of Vitamin C, I reduced my alcohol and tobacco in take, kept myself very hydrated, tried to get more rest than usual, used a strong SPF and kept my face out of the Sun. I also purchased some amazing moisturing serum and lotion to use after the carbon crusts came off (roughly 5-7 days) When my friends and family saw results after 2 weeks they asked me "OMG you look amazing, what did you do to your face"? "You're aging backwards". And the results continued to improve w the passing weeks, up to an entire year! I have since had her resurface my face to improve texture and tone, plump my lips some and correct old eyebrow tattoos. She is MY one stop medispa and I will not go anywhere else as she is the top of her field! She is also very kind, sweet and very attentive. She listens to you without being judgey and her smile lights up the shop. If you want great treatment on every level, you've found the right place.
