You can still order bbq sandwiches after 8pm, but it will take time to prepare and not as convenient. The drink stations and snack selections are on par with other Buc-ee's. This location was small and did not offer any clothing or merchandise options. For its purpose in this town, away from the interstate, it does what it needs and is a good stop if you are in the area.

This is not the best spot to get bait. But when your bait shop is not open what is left. So, I…read morestopped here to get a refill on shrimp. Fish robbed me silly. The shrimps here are prepackaged and are found in the freezer section. It's not a steal deal or good quality nor quantity. The shrimps were solid cold and froze together. When we got the bait we had to leave them in the sun to thaw out. They are pretty small too. Fishing & hunting licenses sold here, fishing gear also.

After visiting the boardwalk we needed to fuel up so we decided to stop in at this Texaco. The…read morestation itself is conveniently located and the staff here was polite. The pumps were fast and the price was comparable to other stations in this area. The only confusing part about this station is that they have multiple pricing options depending on your membership, credit, or cash. This was a slight pain because when I pulled in I thought I was getting one price just to find out that the displayed price was for Texaco card members. In the end this was a decent stop and we would stop in again if we were in the area.

Drink coolers are always half empty especially on the less expensive drinks. I noticed several energy drinks in the cooler from companies that went out of business 5 or so years ago! But it's not bad, although depending on which way you're coming from, and what time of day, it can be a pain to get in and out of. Or maybe I'm just partial to Citgo from living in Boston, and this place really sucks.

NOTHING convenient about: - routinely have to try at least 3 pumps to find one that works - I always leave after that - NEVER a windshield squeegee with water, rarely paper towels available even if there was - screens usually broken and buttons scratched off - card reader rarely works this having to walk inside most times. - trash cans over flowing. - car wash almost always has glitches or payment doesn't work.
