I can confidently say Angel Nail Spa is the best nail salon in the area. The space is always clean, welcoming, and consistently delivers a high-end experience. Angel Nails Spa - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlevoix, Michigan

I was really disappointed with my experience here. For a salon that's located in such a popular city and heavily advertises unique, high-quality nail designs, I expected much better. The service felt rushed and surprisingly rough. My nails were handled so aggressively that the appointment was uncomfortable from start to finish. On top of that, the work was messy--uneven shaping, polish where it shouldn't have been, and an overall finish that looked far from professional. What made it even more frustrating was the price. I paid a premium expecting exceptional results, but the final outcome didn't come close to justifying the cost. Instead of leaving excited about my nails, I left wishing I had gone somewhere else. If you're going to market yourself as a destination for unique, high-end nail art, your quality and attention to detail should reflect that. Unfortunately, my experience did not match the salon's reputation or advertising read more

I had an excellent gel manicure/pedicure for the first time at Angel Nail Spa. My professional did an incredible job! I know that I have very dry skin and my feet aren't beautiful and my professional let me know how ugly my feet are. She was so amazing that I tipped the maximum amount. But I don't think anyone has ever told me how awful my feet are....The facial expression was epic!! But it was worth it! She did a great job!!! read more

This used to be my favorite up north nail salon but the last time we were in there was anything but relaxing. The owner was in charge of my husbands feet and was too busy answering the phone to do her job...properly. I had a women who cut mine crooked, barely exfoliated even though I upgraded my service since it was my birthday. Won't be back read more

Wish I could give this a negative star rating. I had an appointment and when I got there everyone was busy and I had to wait 10 minutes, no biggie, but I also was not greated or really told someone was going to help. Pedicure was fine, then once he finished he basically just left me. I waited hoping someone would come do my nails for another 15 minutes. I tried to ask a lady if someone was coming to help and do my nails and she walked past me and completely ignored me. I asked another guy and he grabbed someone else. She started yelling at her staff and made me feel uncomfortable. Another 10 minutes go by and she came over to do my nails. Slapping lotion on my arm and literally hurting my nails as she did them. She rushed through my entire nails and it was not enjoyable at all. Halfway through she decided to say "sorry for the wait he messed up" and continued to do a terrible job on my nails. After being there for 2 hourz she finished and put me in the drying area and got my money out of my purse to pay. I wasn't planning on tipping, which i never do. I was late to my plans after booking an appointment, and she rushed through my manicure and hurt my hands and arms with how aggressive and fast she went. She asks if im going to tip and tried to force my into tipping. I left. Shame on me for not tipping, I know it's there life and money, but i have never felt more disrespected. $80 later and it was a waste of time and money and just got disrespected. Oh and my nails are completely chipped and look awful! Horrible place! read more

Angel Nails Spa - Manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Charlevoix, Michigan

I've been here several times and have taken friends here too. They are the best nail service I've experienced in northern MI for quality and consistency. They take cash or check only, but my first time I didn't know that and they let me pay with my card instead of asking for me go to the ATM! Most recently, I got a shellac mani and the milk & honey pedicure. Their classic pedicure ($35 as of 2024) is great, but if you want to treat yourself, the upgraded pedicures are wonderful. read more

Love, love, love Angel Nail Spa and the options for the pedicures. Today I opted for the "Almond" pedicure. It included cucumbers on the legs, which they wrapped up. Scrubbing, moisturizing, trimming, more moisturizing, and color. They're also the best place in town for "the dip" manicure. When I get mine done elsewhere, they break & chip. This place was highly recommended, and I know why. Hundreds of color options too! read more

Always a very relaxing experience!! Thank you Judy and Tommy until next time!! Judy and Tommy never disappoint!!

-10 is my actual score!!! Where to begin ..... Dirty salon no distance practiced here and to top it all off this place has hands down the most horrible customer service with a staff not trailed on how to do nails. If you can stay home, drink an entire box of wine, then do your nails by yourself in dimly lit lighting, your nails will turn out better than if you go here. Go anywhere else in the area BUT NOT HERE!!! read more

I really don't like coming here , the lady owner is loud and very rude and never on time . I only came because I had gift certificates to use . It seems every time I'm here it something , this time i was being told that I didn't have an appointment when I know for a fact that I called and had to reschedule a few days prior due to the weather/work . I told her this and that I spoke to a man and she argued that a man never answered even the people around me said they have seen the older man answer it. She rather argue than have customers I guess. read more

HORRIBLE - PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THE SALON FOR AN IMPORTANT EVENT. I was scrambling to find a nail salon to fill my acrylic full set prior yo my wedding. My wedding was on a Sunday, and I had gotten my nails done on Friday. By Sunday, two nails had severely cracked. My bridesmaids had to glue the nails back on because no salon would squeeze me in, or were closed. One week after my wedding, 5 out of 10 nails were looking the same as the photo. I tried to book at several different, better rated salons, but they were all booked. It was Labor Day weekend. I fill my acrylics every 3 weeks, I am no newbie and I know how to care for them. I usually go 3 weeks without filling - I work in sports and lift 5 days a week and this has never happened to me. read more

Best mani, pedi in the area. Appreciate Angel nails can do a dip mani. I look forward to returning

My wife's appointment started exactly on time. Very pleasant experience with friendly experienced staff, clean premises, posted prices, and very good results. Best DIP manicure she's had. Will be back! read more

I had a very poor experience at Angel nail salon. I had an appointment at 6pm and didn't leave until 7:40. I asked for a design that the tech said he could do when in fact he could not. Half way through my appointment I had to change my whole idea for my nails to a plain color. Then when I left I still wasn't happy with my nails. See photos for reference. Very messy nails and I can't imagine how because I was there for so long. read more

That was the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I made an appointment for 4:30 and showed up right on time. My appointment was for a mani/pedi with dip polish. After choosing my color and just standing at the entrance for a while I was told to go sit in a chair. They wrapped my fingers in tinfoil to remove my current polish and left to keep working on other people. I ended up sitting with the acetone on my fingers for a full hour which is way too long so I took the tinfoil off myself and asked how much longer I had to wait. I was given a sharp answer that they would be with me right now. Finally someone started on my nails but after about 10 minutes was moved so someone else could continue with them. The entire time they rushed with my nails, skipped steps, did not care if they were hurting me, did not shape my nails how I wanted and the color I picked ended up being a bright glow in the dark teal instead of a light green. I just paid and left after they finished my fingers, not at all eager to remind them I also booked for a pedicure. After leaving I looked at my nails more closely and saw that the edges were rough, they left polish all over my fingers, and the polish itself is insanely thick as they did not use the drill to smooth out the dip at all. I have never been more frustrated with a service. read more

Not a happy, now former client! I called for an appointment this morning and I was given 5:00. Showed up a little early. Was told by Judy (the owner) "not today"! She said my appointment was on Tuesday at 10:00. That could not be since we will be out of town. "Come tomorrow" Judy said. I said I couldn't because I was taking my neighbor for surgery. She went back to doing her client and ignored me. I can understand a misunderstanding but Judy was downright rude to me and in between speaking in her language with her husband. Didn't understand the language, but the gestures and facial expressions did not seem like they were saying nice things about me, actually to the contrary! I realize retailers are at their breaking point with all the work they have and not enough employees. And I appreciate every one of them. In this case, a little kindness would have made all the difference. Kindness goes both way! read more

Wow. I'm not quite sure what to make of my experience here. Came in desperate for a manicure. When the nail tech pulled a cuticle nipper out of the unsanitary looking cup at her work station, I asked her to skip dealing with my cuticles. She then pulled a used emery board out of the same cup to file my nails--and then used that same emery board to file her own nails while my hands were soaking--then put the emery board back in her cup. Nothing was sanitized. Will never come here again. read more

The woman who answers the phone is rude not only to me but I have heard her rudeness to her customers. If she doesn't want to talk to you she hands the phone to a man who works there, not much better. Her English is the worst!!! I have been in the salon and heard her tell customers she has no time for them then later a walk-in comes in and she takes them for the same service. Not good customer service but if you are in a pinch as I was, then they will get the job done. A last resort and does not except credit cards, cash or check read more

The woman that owns this place is just plain unprofessional, unfriendly and downright, blatantly rude. As in treats you like shite on her shoe. Not only is the staff horrendously unpleasant for no apparent reason but the salon is dirty, they do a shoddy nail job and only accept cash. No credit cards. Which I'm thinking the IRS may like to know about. I wish that I had read the previous reviews here before I stepped foot in the place. The lady who answered the phone talked over me before I got the words out of my mouth. I was trying to book a mani/pedi for me and for both of my daughters but she won't get the business because she was shoving times at me before she even heard it was more than just me.
