I have always had decent service there, but my last experience was terrible. I had my nails filled at another salon due to Angel Nails not being open on Sunday. I needed a pedicure as well, but decided to wait until the following week to have it done at Angel's. So I went in the following Tuesday, I had the pedicure and a nail color change. The pedicure costs $40.00, the color change was $12.00 to $15.00, no one seems to know what the price actually should be‍ I was charged $75.00 and I tipped the gentleman who did my pedicure $10.00 and another $5.00 to the girl who changed my color. Now when I do the math I spent $90.00 for a pedicure and color change. When I called to ask about it, whoever answered the phone didn't want to help and apparently couldn't figure out the math. 2 stars for "trying" but don't skip why. I don't get my nails done as often as I used to, but when I do and I'm being charged 65 dollars of my hard earned money, I expect GREAT service and what I asked for. Before I did anything I made sure to ask if someone would be able to do it exactly like my reference photo. Colors were picked and I was hopeful. Well, I shouldn't have been. My phone was left OPEN in front of the tech, yet the shape of my nails are way off and when I pointed out the fact that they're too sharp on one end and way too round on the other I got attitude and she literally got up and moved seats with another nail tech and he spent 10 minutes fixing and filing the round parts down. Looked at the photo and said "if you want all that design it's $65" ol girl comes back not happy and paints my nails. She didn't want to do the design "I don't know if I can do that I'll try" when I said "that's exactly why I asked when I walked in!" And she says nothing. she adds just the black and asks "that's good?" "No I would like it done exactly how I'm paying for it". She said she'd "try" and try is the best I got out of it because attention to detail was not there and in hindsight it might "still look good" it wasn't what I asked for. Period. The shape is completely wrong and they were supposed to be a comic book style. Not what I got. At all. If people are willing to support your place, give them what they want with at least DECENT service. I definitely didn't deserve the eye roll and blah blah blahing she was doing after I asked her to fix a few things. After rock and roll pedicure! mishap 1 was was seated in pedicure chair, water got cold, didn't bother me but did for my partner, about 30 minutes before service. But the pedicure was amazing! Worth $60.00 mishap 2. My nail polish didn't dry so this is the color I got a little lighter and shinier and a bit rushed. Only negative thoughts are they are not very talkative to the customers. (Suggestion to company make people buy own file's, buffers and toe separators together in a baggy. helps prevent fungus) plus you'll make $$$$ but overall the place is clean.. I have used the nail salon for 4 years. Made an appointment by phone did have to wait 10 minutes when I arrived however my acrylic long nails were done very well. I desperately needed a fill. I feel lucky that Hanh came to my rescue. She did ask me all the right questions like shape, length etc... She has a good eye for detail and is very gentle with the drill. This is my first time having her as my nail specialist and I will return and have her fill them again. Shop was clean and this includes the bathroom, Staff were friendly, and the price is reasonable. My sister and I have tried this shop multiple times to give them a shot and they've been subpar unfortunately. They were impatient with our minor tweaks we asked for and worst yet was how they remove the acrylics. They rip them off using another acrylic nail instead of soaking them and when questioning them about it, they simply said they did not do that. I have been coming to see Lam for several months now and still really like the way he does my nails. I do make an appointment so as to get the time I want. Lam always fills and shapes my nails just right. The way I like them done as well! I do have acrylic on my natural nail. I will continue to be a customer and do hope they stay open. Went in on a Monday for a manicure. There were only 2 nail techs and 1 customer getting her nails done. Very quiet and service was quick since it was not crowded. I got a manicure, started by a gentleman and completed by a woman sitting in the first chair. My pinky nail was cracking and I wanted to save the length, so I got clear dip powder on that one. Other than that, I got a regular white gel manicure. It was decent and the price was cheaper than what I am used to. Usually I pay $65 for a gel manicure, I only paid $32 which was a phenomenal change! I was happy with my service and the way my nails turned out! read more

I've been here twice so far. 1st experience- Loved the place.. SUPER clean, and very beautiful inside. I got the powered dip and it turned out amazing. Only thing that I questioned, was that they didn't give me a full manicure (cuticle, under nails cleaned, or even hand massage). I really didn't think much of it, and I had just had a full manicure a week or two before. They gave me water and a super yummy snack. Overall, the color was amazing and my nails looked pretty good. 2nd experience- They happened to be SUPER busy (think it was the day after mothers day?) and I had wrote my name down and came back an hour later-defiantly understandable since I did not make an appointment. I wanted the powered dip, and a pedicure. Powered dip was the same ! No full manicure! So now all my gross cuticles were taking away from my nice new color... On to the pedicure... SO RUSHED. I understand they were busy, but that's no reason to rush and not even get the full service that was paid for. They didn't even bother to offer the different types of pedicures. They were so busy I didn't even bother to tell them how I felt, wasn't even worth it to me. At first, I was really impressed.. second time kind of killed it for me. New salon I think. Terrible pedicure. Didn't cut my nails short. Wanted to use a cheese grater on my non existing calluses. Rubbed my calf's up and down endlessly never included my feet. I didn't want color, still paid $25. Went home and cut my own toenails. Never going back. read more

Went in to get gel polish removed from my long natural nails, and have them use my own polish. The guy drilled down to my natural nails, and dented the hell out of them! The next day, my nail broke off. Waste of time and money. Seems no one in this town knows how to do natural nails, or are not interested since they don't make as much money! read more

It's just okay. Very typical SV nail salon. The person that did my manicure smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and after we were finished went right outside to smoke in front of the shop. Speak very little English so not very pleasant to communicate. Feels like a high volume shop, if they're busy you'll get a rush job. If they're not you'll have a better experience. They have two children manicure chairs and are good with kid pedicures. My eight year old had a great experience. Also, cut my finger with the cuticle cutter. Rookie mistake! read more

For the area, this place is pretty good but compared to salons in Tucson, it is just okay. I've been here three times now and while it's convenient, I've never been super impressed with the final product or the level of service I've received. I'll stick to making the drive to Tucson. read more

I have to agree with other reviewers that they don't do the little things I've come to expect from other salons like cleaning under the nails. My tech didn't ask me to wash my hands before polish so I told her to let me get rid of the filing dust. My hubby had a pedicure and his tech rubbed the skin off his feet in 2 places. I asked him why he was frowning and he told me later that she was hurting him. He should have told her at the time but didn't want to cause a problem. We were on vacation so it was a one shot deal, but they would not get repeat biz from us. The techs were friendly and my gel manicure came out nice. read more

If I could give this nail salon a negative 0 star review, I would. I recently moved here and I've been looking for a nail tech that does good pedicures. So, I casually went into this business and the service was more than expected. The workers were very nice the pedicure and manicure came out so good. Then, 2-3 weeks later I start to feel a soreness on my toe nail. I see that my nail is purple and blue. I thought I just bumped it on something then a few more days went by and it hurts more and it's even more purple I automatically thought "fungus," so maybe the lady didn't clean the tools properly because she just took it out a bucket and didn't sterilize them or something. So I don't recommend this place at all. I'm going to a new place now and they are much cleaner then this one. Highly not recommend. read more

This is a new nail salon that opened up and I loved it. The experience as great. The staff was super nice and amazing. Prices were reasonable. I use to go to kings nails all the time but I think this one is my go to now. I got the dip powder and they look amazing. They give you snacks and water as you wait. When I first walked in with a friend they weren't busy but only had one nail tech and the guy said it was going to be an hour so we left and came back. So this place opened up next to one of my favorite restaurants in town - convenient for me. Well when I first walked in it felt really relaxing. They took me in right away and offered me water and a snack that looked like baked crackers. I got my pedicure first and my tech Hanh was extremely awesome. She took her time, checked my comfort levels from time to time and made sure I was good throughout the experience. She didnt speak much english but she tried to conversate and make it feel relaxing. She continued on to my manicure and her disposition mever changed. She continued to take her time with me. I am definitely going back to see her for my next clean up. Well, a couple weeks ago I went in for a pedicure and the young guy did a good job. While I was relaxing along with one other lady in there close to closing time, I'm assuming it was the owner but he was sweeping and cleaning up, he starts speaking to his wife in another language and it starts to get louder and louder and then he starts slamming stuff. I wasn't paying much attention to it at first. I then look up and he's looking at her with an evil look and he starts yelling at her in the language he started throwing things,slamming drawers,slamming doors, and continues to yell at her while she's working on the other clients nails. I couldn't believe it. The nail tech was very embarrassed and kept her head down the whole time. This situation was very uncomfortable and the nail tech doing my pedicure even apologized because he knew it was a bad situation. Next time I'll be sure to call the cops if I go back.
