been going every month for 2 years.. amazing!! always professional and friendly. easy communication. happy and delighted every time I get my nails done. the employees do speak in their native language between each other but for me it doesn't bother me at all. I like to slip in and out without too much fuss. knowing some words I have never heard them speaking about clients in a bad way ever. so welcoming! last week was first time I had a genuine chat with 2 employees as no one else was there since it was 9.30am and omg was so lovely to learn more about them. every time I come they greet every customer individuality and at this point I'm a regular and will continue to come and wont ever change. read more

Torture is the only word that springs to mind, I was over 2 hours waiting here hopping from one male 'technician' to the next and waiting in between. Each stage is done by a different person, the standards in ireland have dropped dramatically as you could always rely on qualified staff in beauty and hairdressing, not any more. In Angels nail salons in both Drogheda and Navan there was not one certificate on display and no sanitiser in the whole salon. There was a photocopied cert on the wall in a Chinese name. its a farce, wheres the CIDESCO which was a must have to open a salon in ireland? This salon is run by Romanians and every time you go in there are different staff. read more

Staff are so rude and constantly speaking in their own language. Rushed my nails and no manners. Not satisfied at all.

Came here to get my nails done once and never again. There is a very strange atmosphere in the salon with an unwelcoming vibe. A different staff member completes each stage of the acrylics, they sit in a line at a long table and when one stage is done you move along to the next staff member. Its an odd setup. One of the male staff who filed my nails was incredibly creepy, I felt really uncomfortable having my nails done by him. He was a young guy in his 20's id say and continuously gave me weird looks. All of this I could have ignored if they actually did a good job on my nails but they butchered me. Firstly when they filed my nails & cut my cuticles they cut my fingers and caused me to bleed. Secondly the acrylics where so tight they were painful from when I got them done to when I finally got them off. Not only were they painful but they really damaged my nails. When I went back to have them removed, first the technician drilled off the polish then soaked them in acrylic remover which should be enough to remove them. The technician didn't want to wait for the remover to do its job so he decided to drill the rest of the acrylic off my nails. I have had acrylic drilled off in the past, its not the best way to remove them as its damaging to nails at the best of times but this was another level. He removed layers of my natural nail, it was so bad that if anything touched my nail I could feel it on the nail bed underneath. They were so sore and sensitive for weeks until my nails healed. I wasnt aware that Ireland is so unregulated when it comes to beauty treatments. There is no way these 'technicians' are qualified. There was no evidence of sanitation or qualifications/certificates. Staff where rude and when not inside doing nails, some of them where standing outside the shop door smoking and didnt even wash their hands when they went back inside. There are much better places in town to get your nails done, avoid this place. read more

I got my nails done for eater at Angel Nails yesterday afternoon ,and the results are shocking. When my friend and I arrived into their store, they were rude immediately . They were very loud and talked to their 6 members of their family THE WHOLE TIME. They made us wait 40-50 minutes while there was only 2 other customers in there. Again , this was because of their family members. I was the first person out of my friend and I to get them done . I asked the man doing my nails how much would it be to get nails done (I showed him a picture ) . He looked at me as if I had ten heads. I said how much , he said and I quote "I don't know ask someone else." RUDE!!!! And to make matters worse he asked me was I shy , I said no of course , then he asked me why my hands were a bit sweaty , I shrugged my shoulders as I found his question VERY RUDE!!!!!! He then began to wipe my hands with a tissue and began shaking his head at me. I looked at my friend and said he's so rude. I sat down as he told me to wait. Then I went over to the other man ,as he summoned me , and he started to buff my nails which was all well and good , BUT HE WIPED THE DUST OF HIS HANDS BEFORE MINE(THE CUSTOMERS)!!!!!!! I say down and waited for my nails to be painted. He literally put a clear coat on them and apparently I was done. I got my mother to come over to the nail place and tell him to fix the discolored acrylic nails. He began talking about how I wanted them like the way he did them, which was discolored and yellow. He did them and kept asking me why I didn't like them. I faced the window the whole time he was fixing his mistakes . I walked out without paying any extra. I WANT A REFUND!!!!!! Went in to get acrylics, took over 2 hours to complete as they were switching me between 4 different people to go through different stages of doing my acrylics. When filing, they had cut my skin and glued my skin to the nail. They told me to wash my hands after gluing the nails down, so I did. There was no soap to wash with and then when I did wash them they yelled at me and told me the nails would not stay on for more than 4 days. Other nail salons I had went to had always told me to wash my hands and it was normal to do so as far as I know. I chose two colours to paint them and was told they didn't have the colour on the selection that I chose. I had to change the colour I wanted originally. After painting them, there were small bumps on some nails. I immediately payed and left, and despite them telling me the nails wouldn't last they lasted until over a month later and I had great difficulty taking them off as the nail was glued to my fingers, and it ripped my skin off. I also noticed that their nail files had been used more than once on various clients and you could see that their was the white lines that appear after filing a nail with a file, but they hadn't filed my nails before I noticed them. Avoid I got my nails done there today all nails are different shapes and sizes. Fingers are cut everywhere and currently in glasses of ice. When I asked for my nails to be straightened he said I have 8 years exp and do 50 nails a day it's my fingers that are Crockett I asked him again to fix them and he said am I use to perfect nails when I said yes he said go back to them so!!!
