Andy's Frozen Custard should come with a warning label: "May cause spontaneous happiness and the inability to stop thinking about dessert." I stopped by for a little frozen custard and somehow left feeling like I had just won the lottery. The custard was so creamy and delicious I briefly considered ordering a second one before I finished the first. The staff was friendly, the place was spotless, and every bite tasted like someone figured out how to freeze joy and serve it in a cup. There's a few sitting around the outside of the building. Most people just tailgate in the parking lot. My only regret is not discovering Andy's sooner. Now every other ice cream place has to compete with the unrealistic standards Andy's has set. If you're within driving distance, go. If you're not within driving distance, start driving anyway. 10/10. Five stars. Zero self-control. #FrozenCustardAddict #AndysIsDangerous #WorthEverySpoonful read more

A drive thru or walk up dessert joint dedicated to all things Frozen Custard. Service was very friendly with appropriate staffing to ensure you get your custard in less than 5 minutes. Exterior was very clean with ample outdoor seating to eat your dessert before it melts. The triple chocolate concrete reminded me of a pint of Ben & Jerry's Half Baked. read more

The custard is consistant in flavor. The varieties are just right. I'd be remiss if I wanted to see the blackberry chocolate stay as a regular flavor in quarts. Our freezers must haves are vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan (we add more pecans at home), Bordeaux Black Cherry chocolate, and any new flavor they bring on. Mint choc chip is great ..we love it in the winter with an espresso and a shot of sambuca. Delight!! read more

Such a cute spot for date nights or families. Come hungry because it was sooo good but we were stuffed from dinner. Didn't want to throw it away because it was Heaven! The chocolate chips are more the flakes from a dipped cone. My daughter always gets the SnowMonster and it is addicting with strawberries and chocolate chip. Both that and the cherry had huge pieces of fruit. Loved it! read more

I love this place. I finally decided to try it. The service is great. I love the outdoor area of seating. The flavors are great and the ice cream is soft. The prices are fair and good for the sizes. My kids love watching the ice cream come out and I just save the service is pretty fast. I will continue to go back and try all the different flavors of ice cream. They have a lot of good ones to choose from. read more

The frozen custard is good, but our last two trips have been terrible. One, we arrived and there was a tiny sign that said closed. It was early in the evening. No explanation. Second recent time tonight. The usual slow service was a snail's pace. One person out of 5 preparing the orders. It took 22 minutes to get a small order. People in line to order for 20 minutes. . It was a mess! The bathrooms aren't clean either. There is an Andy's in Simponville. Try it! read more

Tastes like summer ! I got the peanut butter, brownies with hot fudge and it was sweet. The custard tasted creamy and fresh. Perfect Sunday afternoon snack and post-beach/lake treats. Mouthwatering and better than ice cream custards. My husband and I shared a small size and it was perfect for us. I signed up for points on their app so I will be returning soon! read more

A trip to Andy's is a good way to top off a good day in the Upstate. The staff provide friendly service. I really enjoy the variety of concretes, jackhammers, and treats. We drove past Andy's awhile ago and I kept saying I need to try this place out! The big ice cream cone above the sign drew me in here. I finally have been a couple of times. I love frozen custard but don't have it very often but it's definitely a treat when I do. Andy's is a beautiful location, Drive through or walk up and they provide seating if you care to sit outside. The employees are super friendly and will gladly help answer questions. We tried the Peanut butter milk shake and a brownie sundae. The milkshake was super thick and had to be eaten with a spoon. A small was more than we could finish. My friend had the brownie Sundae and it had a lot of fudge and nuts. They definitely do not hold back on toppings so if you have a sweet tooth this is definitely for you. 1 small Sundae 1 small shake $11.10 A fantastic value for what you get . read more

Andy's Frozen Custard - Menu - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Greer, South Carolina

You can't miss this place off Wade Hampton with the giant ice cream cone sign up front! You do have the option to park or go through the drive thru. We walked up and ordered ours, the service was wonderful and had a great cashier who suggested what she liked. When you wait you have seats you can sit at and eat or wait for your custards. The front is all window enclosed so you can watch the machines churn the custards out, that was a great experience for the kids. It's a long line but the wait is very short, they have your order out fast. We had the strawberry shortcake and the banana split, both were fantastic and the custard was so smooth and creamy. Fun place to go, price was decent and service was great, I can't wait to try more! read more

Great prices for yummy custards! All different styles of sundaes and toppings. The reason I gave this place a 4 star was because they advertised "Fresh Apple Pie" , and there was no Apple pie lol . My husband was so sad. They told us it was seasonal. If that's the case take all the posters down. We will still come back and maybe then there will Apple pie. I suggest getting the turtle sundae, those roasted pecans are Aaahhhhmazing! Get yo custard on and enjoy! read more

We had the best sundaes! And the drive thru was quick a d convenient. It's definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

So good. We used drive thru (not sure if they have a walk up window). I had chocolate and it was delicious. We live about 40 min away but will definitely be back. Staff was polite and happy for our business. read more

There were issues with product consistency between staff members. The problem got resolved. Love their ice cream.

I'm not a big ice cream fan, but custard? Yes, please. Our first visit to Andy's was exceptional. The location is great, grounds are welcoming, and the facility is very clean. All employees wore masks and gloves and we're all friendly. My boys had plain vanilla and I, being more adventurous, chose the Key Lime Pie Concrete. This custard is the silkiest I've ever had. The boys enjoyed their vanilla and I am wishing that the Key Lime was available year round. It had the perfect amount of pie and crust. The key lime wasn't overwhelming, but was just enough. We will definitely be returning when we need a custard fix. read more

Very yummy and hit the spot type of dessert place. Their portion sizes are a bit large for my liking, but when you want a treat, it's so worth it. Or just share with someone read more

You've likely never had custard like this before. Not the squishy, droopy and watery stuff you get elsewhere...Oh no. It comes out of massive hoppers like play dough (but thicker). Mix it with the many options (my favorite, which is an off-the-menu option, is the jitterbug....espresso, Heath bars, and other goodies) and they call it "concrete". Glad they made it to SC as the only other place I was able to get it was Missouri. Belly buster for sure but, if you are going to destroy your blood sugar, do it up right and visit this place!! read more

The name says it all, Frozen Custard. Tried both vanilla & chocolate, both were excellent. Fell in love with frozen custard on a road trip thru the Midwest where it is very popular. Andy's custard is the real deal, as good or better than any we have tried. Definitely better than Culver's custard. Andy's first location was in Missouri. read more

I was so excited to hear that a frozen treats place was going to be built in this spot. The custard is so good and I've never really had to wait in line before, because they are quick! Visiting from Florida and we love Andy's. Great service and custard was delicious as always.

Myself and two friends visited Andy's on a hot day in August 2020 to get some yummy custard - and I'm so glad we did! We got two small concretes and a small cone and it didn't take long at all for those to be made while in the drivethru. Completely delicious and I can't wait to go back! read more

I went to Andy's to get ice cream they closed in 10 mins. Yes I know I was that person but I just want a scoop of ice cream. I heard the lady say are you fu***** kidding me. Then looks at her coworker and goes should I tell them it's closed. And then proceeded to tell us while the window was closed that they were closed. I understand that they were about to close but they couldn't be ruder about it. They definitely lost my business for good. read more
