I am an athlete and take my sport very seriously, I could tell that my instructor was visibly agitated as I made my best effort to schedule lessons so as to not cut practices and competitions. The impatient demeanor of the instructor made me feel uncomfortable. The more uncomfortable I was the more mistakes I made. The prelicensing course was an embarrassment too the building was an utter dump. The instructor clearly did not want to be there and barely taught anything just had us sit there and watch videos of stuff that we already knew. All in all I would not recomend this company to anybody other people may have had great experiences but I did not.

I've gone there 3x in 6 years for my 10% insurance reduction. The instructors are great. James Fox has been my instructor the last 2 x and he is such a nice guy. No need to feel intimidated there & time flies. You get a 10 min break in about 1 & 1/2 hours into the class,then a 1/2 Hour for lunch/dinner & you can choose whether you want the 2nd break or no,or if want class to end a little earlier. It's so great for people to go every 3 years like I do to remind you of al, the driving laws you have forgotten or all the laws you never knew. To me,it's too exciting ! ( odd,but True) I give this place & the instructors 5 Stars If you need a point reduction on your license or you want 10% off your insurance for 3 years,I highly recommend you go there !

Tried messaging the school on their website. No response. Now I've scheduled a couple of lessons with a different driving school, and I'm trying to reach O'Day's to get a copy of my son's 5-hour course certificate. I cannot get ahold of anyone. My son will probably have to take the 5-hour course again. Do not waste your time and money on this place.

She states ahead of time to allow 30 minutes ahead of each appointment in case of her early arrival. However, she arrived early for EVERY appointment and even ONE HOUR ahead of time at one point, 40 minutes ahead of time another time, and canceled due to rain another time. After several attempts at making the schedule work for my daughter, I asked for my remaining money back (she had done two lessons), and was ignored. If you have time to wait around and make adjustments to every lesson schedule, I suppose it would work well. However, our family has commitments and other needs that did not make this training useful, AND I should have had the remaining amount refunded out of respect for it just not working out.

But if you do that it'll be the Self-harmory rather than the Armory. The Connecticut Street Armory has a lot of scary ghost stories about it, and one of my extended family members was actually murdered here while on active service. For this reason I want to give it a low star rating, but it's just such a beautiful and old and classical building, that it's hard not to give it a 5. It takes up an entire city block, and it's the kind of amazing structure they just would not build these days. Sometimes in some cases in some ways, the old ways are better, and in terms of buildings this Armory proves that is the truth.

High on the West side by Connecticut and Niagara is a fortress looking building. That's this one. If you drive by on weekends you will often see reservists in the area, I think they do training or other exercises here. But other times, it gets rented out, for parties, rock concerts, wedding receptions or whatever else you may want. Its a super cool venue for whatever event, the caterers that Ive experienced have been quite tasty. Ive seen a few concerts there, it can get very dark and personal for those. If you go to the observation deck at City Hall, you will see this structure. It stands out. As far as I have experienced, parking is street. If there's a lot, I'm not aware of it.
