Very professional and respectful to my elderly family member! I found Dr. Tran through Yelp - of courses. None of the Vietnamese speaking dentists in Orange County has a Yelp account! At least I couldn't find any except Dr. Tran. Seeing all the positive reviews, I told my family member to go and check it out. They do not like dentists, especially Vietnamese ones because of horrendous experiences with most providers. Dr. Tran was very kind, respectful and professional. He diagnosed my family member with some issues that previous providers did not even bother to inform my family member. He explained the issues and worked on them immediately during this first appointment. My family member is happy and looks forward to coming for follow-up 3x/yr. WONDERFUL DENTIST ! Came here for a second option after receiving a long list of treatment I supposedly needed done at a different dentist. Everyone in this office was extremely nice and answered all my questions. The receptionist was very welcoming, the DA was very detailed with everything she was doing and the office manager was extremely helpful when explaining what I needed done. I just completed a full upper jaw denture replacement and lots of treatment of fillings and other things. I have to say that Andy Tran and his team do a great job and make you feel very comfortable. I truly feel that Dr Tran did and does some great work and knows what he's doing. My mom also had a couple of root canals done after she had gone to other dentist a year ago and the root canal failed on her so she had to get everything re done . Andy Tran also worked with us with payment plan. Anyway just want to write this since it's past due and say thank you too Andy Tran and the team. Recommend this dental office id give 10 stars if I could! They are super patient and honestly made me feel super comfortable. Dr Tran made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and how, he explained each step and answered all my questions even if they were repetitive. First off I was scared of going to dentist and Dr Andy Tran changed all that. He lets you know what he's doing and makes sure you're aware of the procedure being done. He talks to you while he's working on your teeth to calm you down if you start to panic. Honestly haven't met any dentist I've gone back to after they work on my teeth. This place is incredibly unprofessional and only tries to upsell services instead of prioritizing patient care and treatment. I brought my parents here for their 9 am appointment and my mom was seen immediately. However, my dad ended up having to wait for over an hour only to eventually leave because of my mom's experience. She scheduled a deep cleaning only to be told in person that they wouldn't do it. Instead, they offered a regular cleaning and tried to charge her $65 for some antibiotic rinse that insurance doesn't cover. They insisted that she needed to do it and had to pay out of pocket. Luckily, she doesn't put up with BS so both parents ended up just leaving without being fooled into unneccesary treatments. Don't let this place try to scam you or your family and friends. There are too many options in the area to put up with this nonsense. read more

I returned for a 6 month cleaning. He came in and started checking my teeth without introducing himself or saying hello which I found very rude. The chair is facing the wall so you have no idea who is coming into the room. Second, he said according to my x-rays, I had inflammation and needed a liquid antibacterial wash which cost additional $60. I declined and told him I only wanted the cleaning so he denied me service. I left and went to Concorde School of Dentistry in GG for a 2nd opinion. They said I did not need the anti- bacterial wash and it was not necessary. read more

From my first contact with the family wonderful Miss Aracely to confirm my benefits to helpful and knowledgeable Freddy who assisted my with my X-rays and prepping and finally to the wonderful Dr Tran himself, the whole process was seamless and smooth. At each step, I was informed of what would be happening and lots of questions were asked to make everything was understood and to make sure they were fully aware of my current health status before starting so we were all on the same page. This was perhaps the best experience I have ever had at a dental office and Dr Tran is so comforting and such a warm personality it makes the whole process a pleasure and you will feel completely at ease. So I had a big chip broke out from one of the big teeth on the right side of lower jaw. And it caused so much sensitivities every time I chew or have a cold drink. It really stressed me out because of the pain and I really hate/ scared of dental works! Who doesn't right??? :D Then my sister referred me to Dr. Andy office and I couldn't thank her enough. I'm so glad I made a visit to the office. It is very clean and organized. The staffs were so friendly and helpful. They can even speak Spanish and Vietnamese too but what's most important is that they really took care of me and guided me thru the process. I love how they have soothing piano music in the back ground and constantly ask if i'm doing ok. That really cleared up the FEAR inside me. So after the check up procedure like x-ray and other exam, Dr. Andy recommended me to get a crown for my broken tooth but if it still hurts then im gonna have to do root canal ( and that is my worst nightmare.) So that same day I got a temporary crown and 2 weeks later come the main. At first I thought to myself how am I gonna survive the tremendous pain this procedure brings but it actually not that bad. It didnt hurt like i think it will. And yesterday I came back to get the main one put on and it looked just like any other teeth. So perfect. And EYY!!! NO MORE SENSITIVITIES OR PAIN. NO ROOT CANAL Im so happy with the result Thanks to Dr. Andy and his staffs for taking great care of me. Yall awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. read more

I've always hated going to the dentist but this is the BEST experience I've ever had at a dental office! Dr. Andy Tran is very informative, considerate, and honest- makes you feel comfortable. I even like the little questionnaire at the beginning where it asks if you've been having anything bothering your teeth, if you're happy with how your teeth are, anything you'd like to change, etc. It creates a safe environment to know they care about how you feel about your teeth. I've gone in for cleaning twice now and he's thorough and efficient. I also really appreciated the precautions he and his staff has taken during this pandemic. Shoutout to the guy who took my X-rays and cleaned my teeth! (Sorry I didn't get your name) He was so nice and detail orientated. I really appreciated that I docked one star off because at the end of my recent visit, it seemed kind of shady to me that the scheduler in the front was asking me to pay $10 and didn't give a reason. Cleaning should be covered full by insurance. She tried to say something about fillings but I told her I've never had any done here, only cleaning. I didn't think too much of it as she was trying to come up with some reason since it was only $10, so I proceeded to give her my card. She then said "you don't have cash?" (Seems like a red flag) and said to just pay it (which I still don't know what it is) at my next appointment. I don't mind paying if I'm supposed to, but not being transparent about something like $10 doesn't sit too well with me Overall, if I don't mind the drive too much from Diamond Bar, I'd come back because I trust them to do great work UPDATE: Dr. Tran has reached out to me regarding the $10 fee and clarified the miscommunication with the front desk. So the $10 is meant to go towards the increased safety equipment due to COVID-19- which I totally understand given the circumstances they had to go through to reopen. Next time, this should be mentioned beforehand maybe in the appointment confirmation phone call or even in the papers we sign when we come in. First off, the staff is SO KIND! They actually remember you and the things that you've talked about with them. It had been 2 years since I saw them because I was on a mission trip for my church but they remembered me when I came back. My mom told me that they would ask about how my mission was going when she would go in for her appointments. I've loved talking to and getting to know Freddy, the dental hygienist, as well as the sweet women who work the front desk, Sandy and Aracely. Secondly, Dr. Tran is an amazing dentist! He has the quickest and gentlest hands out of any dentist I've seen. I have incredibly sensitive teeth and always have had to have multiple novocaine shots in the past when getting fillings (which is why I actually always dreaded going to the dentist). This last time that I went in however, he didn't even give me novocaine because they were small cavities and I didn't feel a thing! He only makes you open super wide when needed, so you don't have to sit there with your jaw wrenched open and in pain for the entire process. I definitely recommend coming here for your dental care. I actually don't dread going to the dentist anymore because I know it won't be a painful experience haha. I've always had a 10/10 experience which is why everyone in my family comes here. I haven't been to the dentist in quite a while and was recommended to this place. First of all, they are super sanitary and require you to wait in your car, call in and tell them you're here for your appointment and they will call you when they're ready for you to come in. They also check your temperature at the door and require you to fill out some questions relating to Covid-19. This establishment looks nice and is very welcoming! They make me feel super comfortable and also ask me several times throughout the process if I'm okay, if anything feels uncomfortable or if anything hurts. They do require you to wear a mask but once you're called in, they ask you to take off the mask, wash your hands and to use their mouthwash before you sit down in the chair. He is now my go-to dentist and I would definitely recommend him! read more
