I wish that I could say we had a good experience with StrikeOne this summer. I was hoping these…read moreguys would take care of my son in their travel ball program. This just did not happen. At tryouts Kenny spoke very highly of our son and made us think he would be important in the summer program. In the end we paid over $2000 and our son was used for about 2 innings the entire summer. Thus, we paid over $2000 plus travel costs for about 15 minutes of total playtime. He took thousands and thousands of dollars from several families in this way. So it was even more insulting when we would show up to tournaments and there would be new players that no one had ever seen before, utilizing playtime that we paid for. I should have left when other parents expressed concerns. But then Kenny only responds when his money is on the line, otherwise you're ignored. I thought my son was in good hands. It was a total waste of a huge amount of money. Be careful of this organization. We feel completely taken advantage of.

This is really a problem. CRPD contracted with a low budget, understaffed, and ill-equipped company! I ended up helping the elderly instructor as she was unable to sit on the floor to show proper chest compressions. The mannequins were too heavy for her to lift and NO disease barriers for making mouth to mouth contact with the mannequins. GROSS!! Instructor fatigued easily and seemed out of her league. The poor kids that were there just wanted the two hour session to end so they could claim they were "certified" for their babysitter jobs. NO WAY were these unsuspecting kids ready or able to deliver proper and effective CPR to anyone let alone precious children! Class ended with the instructor exhausted as her slovenly boss showed up to collect the money. No certificates were issued. Called CRPD and was told, "oh well ... what are you gonna do..." Government and its cronies at their finest!! NEVER AGAIN for any CRPD class!
