All of them were exceedingly polite and helpful. One of them even gave me a small bottle of water. The issue is that the doctor no showed the appointment. My appointment was at 1430 and I was there a few min early. I was sitting in the waiting room for a good half hour before I was called up to fill out paperwork and then I was lead back to the waiting room. I gave the doc till 1605 and then I bailed. I told various staff members that I was leaving and all were very apologetic and understanding. Oddly, none of them seemed in the least bit surprised which leads me to believe this is far from the first time this happened. Doctors seem to think their time is very valuable and that our time is not. I wonder if I can charge him a no show fee?

Then he said to me, if that was my father, and being 95, he would NOT have this tooth pulled. It didn't bother my father, pain wise. So of course he left it up to us. But I thought it would be crazy to put him through that if he didn't have too. So to make a long story longer. We made an appointment, took his time, only to leave with only Xray's is a testament to this guy's moral standards. I would expect most would go ahead and pull it, bill him, and send him on his way. But not him. So.... not that you want to line up to have oral surgery. But if I did I would certainly trust Dr. Shroyer to do the work. Need more honest doctor's like him out there. So we left and the first thing Dad said was, I'm changing Dentists. Hahaha.... If we need to Dad, we can.

We had come to the wisdom teeth guys, because our normal dentist doesn't do Wisdom Teeth removal in…read moretheir office and this was where they had recommended for us to go based on our insurance. When getting set up to see them, I recommend being able to fill out forms immediately after getting off the phone with them. They wanted certain things filled out in a certain amount of time or else you risk your appointment being dropped. This caused an issue for us because they called to say insurance had approved the procedure and were on the phone scheduling the appointment, but in the next sentence they said they would be sending me an email with a form that if I didn't fill out within an hour our appointment would be dropped and I would have to call back to reschedule it. Why does the from need to be filled out within an hour in order to keep the appointment? They made a big deal out of extending their timer on the forms an extra 30 mins-hour because I was about to walk into an hour long appointment and had taken the call because the caller ID had come up as them vs just the call center number. I can see possibly requesting a form being filled out within 24 hours, but one hour is unreasonable as they could call to try to schedule you when you are at work. The next I guess issue was that the number to contact them is a call center, so if you had a issue like we did with our initial consult where my GPS directed me to a restaurant that was pretty much across the HWY from where they actually are ... you have to almost rely on luck for landing on a call center rep that knows to tell you to put in this orthodontics office in your GPS vs their address. When we got to the appointment I let them know, and I feel like they may have figured out make the fix, but its hard to gauge because we knew where we were going when we went back. The actual removal of wisdom teeth went well, and you will get flooded with a phone call, a number of texts, and email to give them a review. But only with the single phone call did they inquire about how my kid was doing. As well, if we had a question to ask we always got the call center never any contact with the actual office. So, if you actually possibly want more personalized after care you may have to reach out to your actual dentist or go to urgent care. So, yes they did what they needed to do and in a timely manor, and when dealing with you face to face are nice. Though they also give me the feeling that they are a wisdom teeth removal revolving door or mill. That once you your in theory one time transaction is done, they are like NEXT, not really interested in any real follow up. So I'm luckily that we didn't have any major issues that needed in person help that couldn't be resolved with a check in over the phone. Though, If my youngest needs his out down the line I'd want to see what other options our insurance has to make sure we have a better chance of follow up options if we would be in need for after care help for him.

Last edit: I called and asked if there was anything they could prescribe for the pain or tell me…read morewhat to do to fix the pain. I also asked if they did not believe me, and why I was rushed through surgery. Candace said the only thing they could do for me is an X-Ray. They do not care that I can no longer drive through the general Arlington neighborhood without urinating on myself. She would not explain why I was lied to and told multiple things about how the "sedation" would make me feel. I told her that I was awake but paralyzed during the entire surgery, and she told me I only felt pressure, not pain. I felt every second of him cutting my tooth into pieces and every time he bumped the wound, the pain screamed. I felt my gums being cut into pieces. It felt like fire in my mouth. I felt EVERYTHING. These people truly, sincerely, ruined my life with their lack of care. I have nightmares of Harley's face every night. I hear her voice sometimes and I have never heard voices or had auditory hallucinations before. I used to be somebody with a life plan and ambition and ability and I have been completely robbed. After visiting here I don't feel like a person but just Harley's victim. I didn't want to use that wording because I believe she would find great amusement and pleasure in that statement, but I want to get my point across that her manner of care has really set my life on an alternate dark path and I am sure I will not be her only victim. It has been two months since my surgery and the pain has not improved since day 1. My days look like going from the bed with an ice pack to the shower with a hot compress. This giant fire on the side of my face is a constant daily companion. The pain started when I became not-paralyzed from surgery and it never stopped. I am in so much pain on a daily basis and it makes the cracked tooth I used to have feel like a much better option. There is awful burning deep in my gums and jaw that just never ever stopped. They won't help me.

I was hesitant about going here and it being just a chain place that would suck. I mean they have sassy billboards and radio spots promoting sexy teeth. I grew up going to the same dentist, sitting in the same chair, looking at the same yellowed walls... totally different experience 15 years ago at the traditional dentist. Called to get an appointment and a week later here I am on my way to sexy teeth. This location is convenient. Although I despise this parking lot---people don't follow the arrows--there was no issue getting in and out this time perhaps because we had a morning appointment. As we walked in the receptionists stood to greet us. They smiled and we joked around as we checked in. We were offered water and a snack while we waited. Waiting area is nice and comfortable. Didn't wait long before being called back. Every step was explained. Light massage chair and choice of Netflix or Pandora helps ease the anxiety. X Rays are annoying but part of the process and doesn't take long. Impressions for the whitening trays took just a moment. The tech explained everything and was really nice. The doctor came in and took a look...then time for the cleaning. We joked about it sounding like Mario Bros soundtrack. Once finished, she brought my bag with my new trays and explained how they worked. Bag included whitening gel, full sized whitening toothpaste, sensodine toothpaste, toothbrush and of course floss. We set our next appointment while I was still in the chair and received a text so I could place it on my calendar. Overall easy process and comfortable in an environment I tend to have anxiety about. Now I'm on my way to sexy teeth.

But, she loved it so much and it had been a couple of years so I went. This one is on the second floor of a shopping complex. Parking in the tiny lot is TIGHT! I had made my appointment in person and when I got there I had to do this huge list of questions on an ipad or whatever. Any reason I couldn't do all that before I came in? It took awhile to get through. The lobby is super cute. First they took a bunch of xrays. Both standing and when seated. This was annoying because I didn't request them, nor did I think I needed them. I am highly suspicious of this mandatory activity as I don't think it adds any value to me, which it didn't, but I would guess they charge your insurance for it and make a few bucks there. Kind of annoying and weird. In my younger days, you got examined by the dentist and xrays were only needed for a problem. I know it's all high tech now but hey I should have been given the option to say no. They seated me in one of their chairs. Asked if I wanted to watch Netflix or listen to music. I said no I didn't care. Here's what's weird; There's a big tv in my room and it's playing music from spotify or whatever, and it shows the album cover. Whoever was in there last must have chosen smooth rap or something - the album cover was - I kid you not - a naked woman on a bed in a compromising position. No outright nudity was shown, but highly inappropriate to have that up during your dentist appointment. Thankfully the song soon changed. Dentist came in, gave me a look, said xrays were good, which I already knew, and that I had no cavities. Yay. They left. The other practitioner/nurse? Did my cleaning. I hate these especially now when you don't get to spit. I hate that suction thing and that gritty toothpaste. I got told "DO YOU DRINK COFFEE" which I said yah I'm a white guy. "OH I SEE STAINING HERE" - And your point is....? Didn't say they would remove the stains or that I should do anything moving forward so.... weird. Easy on the flossing please - tasting blood is not something I want in any appointment, ever. When I left I was spitting blood and bits of bone? tartar? toothpaste? All of the above? into the parking lot. God I couldn't wait to get home and RINSE. Had an email when I got home with instructions on how to use the whitening kit they DIDN'T give me. Nor was I told I was geting one. Another charge to my insurance without my consent or knowledge? Will I be getting another wonderful mystery bill in the mail for items insurance magically decides not to cover for some reason? Not a fan.

Avoid at all costs!!! The reviews are not lies so don't have the "they only left a bad review…read morebecause of one thing, or because they had a bad experience" mindset. We're trying to save you from the horrible experience and service we have received. They make you pay for services before any treatment is done, rushing through the process to try and make it seem like everything is a dental emergency. I paid a very high amount to have some of my teeth repaired and now I apparently owe a large amount again because of insurance changes. The hold music on their phones saying "peace of mind promise" about pricing is ironic and a huge lie. When you have me pay for services, that balance should be closed when it's paid. Be clear about what insurance will cover, and don't randomly change it after a new year has started. Nothing about this organization gives me peace of mind. I will never return to this organization ever in my life. To the business manger that sees this and wants to say the same thing that is on all of the other negative reviews, be a real manager and reach out to the frustrated customers yourself. I'm not calling your useless customer service line that will just babble on and on. Your phones record conversations and it shouldn't be that hard for you to track down and figure out who is having an issue.
