Never been spoken to like that when getting take out food. For 12 years I have used Andreas on and off, they didn't always have the best food, but they usually delivered with in half an hour and were great for after a night out as they were one of the only places open. I even went as far as to use Andreas for my staff to order after a busy night behind the bar. I stopped for a while after one or two long waits which resulted in nothing being delivered at all. (The cleaner picked up and said everyone had gone home).
But after speaking to the chap tonight that was shit from the start I don't think I will ever go back as I was storming down there to sort him out when the driver finally turned up. First off he wouldn't tell me how much anything was until I told him where I lived, then told me he had quoted half an hour to forty five minutes when I phoned back after forty minutes to see where my order was , (he didn't) then said that it would be along in a minute, (it wasn't)
After ringing back again, I was called a liar, told that to cancel my order cause they don't give a fuck about customers like me. That would be anyone that has had to wait without being told. We argued for a bit, then I got my coat and told him I was heading over there. He hung up and I rang back when I was on my way.
I got a long story about how he was cover this persons shift and that persons shift and how I shouldn't have been swearing down the phone back at him, but it was OK for him to swear at me, (not to get all playground, but he started it). I which I told him I work in catering and funnily enough, I don't get to tell customers to fuck off and cancel their orders just because things are going wrong that evening.
Lucky for me I saw the driver going past on my way up the road and my hunger got the better of me so I paid for it anyway after hanging up on the guy on the phone as he swore away. The cold meal delivered didn't give much comfort.
So keep away from this place if you can help it or at least be willing to wait in silence for your cold food or face the wrath of the guy on the phone. As he would say, "right bruv" read more
