I would have to agree with another reviewer that they don't treat us not people. You are assigned a paralegal and not an attorney. You don't even get assigned an attorney until the day of your hearing with the judge. Paralegal doesn't return calls and i did send her emails. She returned the emails sometimes that same day or days later. A person at Social security called them several times and could never get your paralegal on the phone. Docs was never send and checked in a timely matter. SSA doesn't wait until your firm is ready and this lawyer firm should know that. SsA will continue your case and make a determination with or without them. I had to gather all my paperwork and get my doctor to fill out forms and call ssa myself to make sure they got it and then call my doctor to tell them to fax it to them or the law firm. I felt like I was doing all the work and I shouldn't feel that way. Do yourself a favor it's not worth going to this firm and paying them for services that you feel like your doing yourself. Get a law firm that cares and that you actually can speak with a lawyer through our case. You should be able to trust your lawyer or law firm cuz I never spoken or meet my lawyer but that paralegal. There clients should be there priority and it's not. Good luck if you go with them and I wish I would of listen to other people reviews because it so true.

This is a very large law firm and for the actual owner to speak with me a few times showed me they're not just another law firm looking for their cut in your accident, etc. They earn their cut which isn't really much. They were always there to answer any questions I had. I love that if when you call and if your rep. is busy they make an appointment for you to speak with them at another specified time that works for you and them, which is great as they focus on you at that time and it's all yours. I was never interrupted or hurried off the phone; I never felt rushed. In fact Carla wouldn't get off the phone with me if I didn't understand something. She explains things to you in layman's terms. I'm sure she might have been annoyed with all my questions, etc., but she never quivered and always treated me professionally and with full compassion. WComp. is a lot of papers and it's tough to understand but Carla took that pile of papers and info and reduced them so I could breeze through and with confidence that she was working for my best interest. She also explained the WC procedures, law, and processes to me that I now understand. The laws for WC in NYS are terrible. They side with the employer which for those of us like me who've been left with life-long disabilities due to an accident at work is just deplorable. I believe WC is very unfair, has very little concern for the employee. They are too straight forward and it seems they treat us all alike when all our cases are very different. Carla and the Kenny Law Firm went to bat for me and did the best they could working with this unfair WC system that needs to be overhauled. Don has been doing my taxes now for 20 years. His knowledge, experience and expertise has saved me a lot of money over the years and more importantly, prevented me from inadvertently running afoul with the IRS. My wife has her own business so knowing what to do and how to do it is critical. The only concern I have every year during tax time is that Don might have finally chosen to retire and I'll have to try to find another equally expert Accountant. If you are looking for an Accountant don't hesitate to use Don.

Joy Insurance gave us the run around for weeks before we could get a rental vehicle. We finally were given authorization to get a rental vehicle that I paid out of pocket. I did get reimbursed for this, however the time they authorized the rental my vehicle was almost ready from the body shop. I only used the rental vehicle for 3 days and the car was in the shop for more than 2 weeks. I was also not given thorough info regarding transferring insurance to my son. Needless to say, this was the icing on the cake for us to leave. Very unhappy how this ended with them. This is in response to Liam Joy: I did receive a voicemail and email from your Dad. The email he sent did not have accurate facts. First off, you never explained the process on transferring insurance to my son's name. You took our son's money and then at the 11th hour after time passed you decided to call him and ask about plates. You expected him to know that he needs the title signed over. Nothing was ever explained about the process. This is typical for your agency, just like the claim process. It would have been nice to get a call directly from you when you discovered there was a problem. Let me just say, you had plenty of chances to call me and make good. You decided to ignore this, and thought it would go away. It is unfortunate that it ended this way.
