Unfortunately, it wasn't until much later when I had immersed myself in the world of parenting a nerudivergant child that I even realized how bad it was. When I tell other parents about our expirence with her they are shocked, and I have been speaking out about her more so that other families don't waste their time, money, and most importantly whatever is left of their emotional energy on her nonsense. Please understand that it is well worth the wait to get a complete evaluation that will give you real answers that will actually help, not quick "fixes" that only make things worse. "Dr." Rissenberg openly believes that ADHD is a money grab, that pitocin causes autism, and that medicating a symptom is more important than finding the true cause. I was in various stages of depression for almost 16 years when I contacted Dr. Kornreich.
