The staff here are friendly, effective and knowledgeable. Dental Hygienist, Michele, is beyond competent and consistently delivers excellent dental care and advice. She is truly dedicated to her patient's health. The problem in this practice is apparently hiring and retaining good general dentists. I am now seeing Dr. Huang, the fifth dentist in as many years, who seems to be the most competent and experienced of the previous four. In a leap of faith, in December 2019, I allowed Dr. Cho, the practice's dental surgeon, to extract two of my front teeth which had become mobile (loose) toward the end of replacing them with implants. To make a very long story short, there was very little, if any, coordination between Dr. Cho and the General dentist Dr. Kutsyk. Unknown to me at the time, Dr. Cho is only physically in the practice once every couple of weeks. Apparently, one of the two implants had been placed at such an an acute angle that it was unusable as evidenced by seven separate attempts by Dr. Kutsyk spanning over a year of effort. The implant, which I paid for, was ultimately abandoned along with the abutment and crown which I have also paid for. The issue was finally resolved by Dr. Huang in February 2021 by placing a single large crown, attached to the good implant, to replace the two teeth extracted in 2019. Needless to say, I will never again use Great Expressions to perform any procedure beyond basic dentistry, cleaning and maintenance and recommend everyone do the same.

No one should go through what i went through with them. Ever since i stepped into this dental…read moreoffice and got work done i was in nothing but pain and suffering, even my mental health suffered. I found them when i started having a toothache and contacted my insurance company for a list of dentists covered by my insurance plan. I went through a couple and eventually came across this office i read through the reviews, i was reluctant because i saw a couple bad reviews and decided to just try them out. I went on my first visit on march 1st 2022. I had no issues with my teeth at all up until this point. I went in for a toothache as i stated but i also had a chipped front tooth which they managed to shortly fix and did a decent job which made me trust them. Could i have been ever more wrong in my life... michelle who did my cleaning looked at the xrays said i had a few cavities and the tooth i was having slight pain in needed a root canal or to be extracted. I decided to have a root canal as i didnt want to lose the tooth yet as i was only 31 at the time. Dr edward huang spoke to me in regards to the root canal and we scheduled it. He had also filled in my cavities which he butchered and i didnt realize until much later. Shortly after he worked on my cavities i started to realize my teeth felt uneven and i couldnt bite down properly i spoke to them they asked me to come back, dr huang checked found nothing wrong with the fillings but the issue still persisted as time went by. Eventually i arrived for the root canal and they performed the extraction of the old tooth as planned. At the time my work conflicted a lot with their schedule so i lived with the issue with the fillings for a month until the crown for my tooth was scheduled. During the time i waited i started to have muscle spams in my face and pain it felt my jaw would go numb and i scheduled to have them check again as it was becoming unbearable. Again they found nothing wrong but dr huang tried to fix the fillings but it didnt help at all.. maybe it made it worse.. i started to notice i was grinding my teeth a lot in my sleep because of this they offered a night guard which i agreed to. But that was the last i heard of it, michelle told me insurance would not cover it and i would have to pay the quoted $400 price she told me which i would have paid because i needed it. I dreaded going back and forth to having them check the fillings as its a pain to drive over 30 mins again for them to find nothing even though i was having so much issues and dr huang always seemed uninterested to speak to me he was never rude but just always rushed through convos. I should have took that as a red flag and went else where. When they finally added the crown not even 3 days later i couldnt even drink a cup of coffee in the morning as that tooth would have me so much pain i called them back they told me if in a week the pain persisted to come back. The was still there and i had to go back yet again. Dr huang stated maybe the crown was too high he worked on it after he was done he told me that the gum was red and maybe it was still healing and that maybe thats what caused me the pain which in my head made me think why would he work on the tooth first if the gum might be the issue? It made no sense logically but i assumed since he was the professional he knew best. I kept having issues with that tooth as well and with the fillings worked on the left side of my mouth at this point i still had a little faith in them as professionals and hoped that they fixed my issues. They never did. I struggled with them from march 1st 2022 until october of 2022 until i decided enough was enough and went else where. The other dentist i went to discovered the crown was cracked from underneath. During that time i went to this office over 10 times in a couple months. These people butchered my teeth so badly, the shape of my face/jaw has changed drastically. I really hope my review helps someone avoid this place and save them from the suffering i went through.See attached images.
