We had two great bartenders working during our visit. They were friendly, efficient and handled the busy bar well. Our group had drinks and ate at the bar during our visit. The menu isn't huge but offers something for everyone. A dining companion had the chili (with noodles) and said it was okay. They did like their BLT. The olive burger and garlic cheese curds were great according to another companion. Two of us had the fish dinner. For $18 it was excellent. Three shrimp, three pieces of perch and a nice fillet of walleye came with a large bowl of German potato salad (good, but mom still makes the best). At the end of the trip, no one in our group went away hungry or thirsty. As I've pointed out before, the exterior may not have been pretty but you don't go for the exterior. They're only open Friday evenings and Sat-Sun. We stopped by on a Saturday morning and got the best meal of our trip. They're a cute spot with a lovely little indoor dining room as well as a patio. We opted to dine outdoors on the sunny Saturday morning we were there. I ordered the frittata and a caramel latte made with almond milk. The frittata came with a lightly dressed salad on the side. The salad was fine but the frittata was out of this world delicious. It was buttery with creamy goat cheese that was beautifully sharp and flavorful. My caramel latte was the best cup of coffee of my trip (so good with wonderfully rich espresso). My only hope is that they'll eventually expand their hours as I would have happily been in there every morning of my trip. They are a wine bar in the evenings as well (though we didn't stop by for that). The service was good if a bit disjointed (we received our meals and finished them before our coffee came out).
