It's a lovely place tahat is not over priced and makes a change from the likes of Greggs. The olives in particular seem to be very expensive, and I don't really feel they are any more special than from the right supermarket.

But, the lad helping me cut a slice from the wheel, then let the delicious center portion FALL OUT. Obviously, these people are NOT french. Oh, and Papa Smurf cuts the nose off the cheese. Always. Cuts the nose off the frakking cheese. The second time I bought cheese here, there were 3 types. Again, some gorgonzola dolce, and a bigger portion! It was delightfully full-bodied and smooth. The lighting is dimmed just enough to encourage good conversation and a comfortable atmosphere. There are two main rooms for seating, each with groupings of chairs or booths around bistro style tables. The art and decor feel like a brasserie. I would highly recommend The Deli for a delicious glass of wine (or 3) and great conversation with friends.
