Some shops were closed due to Covid but the ones that were opened we were very impressed with the unique items in the store and the variety is the selection. We ended up spending hours in just 3 stores and found great gifts for friends. Most of the stores opened at 10 and closed by 5. The restaurants and bars were opened past 5. I asked one of the clerks if business was slow due to Covid and she responded it was more likely that everyone was on the lake. During the summer of 2020, Ram Cat alley advertised music on Thursday night. We did not have the pleasure of experiencing that event.

After I paid for the bill, I requested to receive a duplicate receipt and the cashier then turned around to ask her manager. She asked me from a distance why do I need the duplicate receipt and I told her that technically it's none of her business but if she must know that I provide a copy to the nursing home facility and keep a copy for myself. She finally came down to the register since the WHOLE line of people stopped doing what they were doing to listen to our conversation. So, she preceded to ask me the same question...why do I need a duplicate receipt. I then inform her the same as before cutting no corners and let her know I've never had an issue with receiving a duplicate receipt for records. She was preceding to ask more questions that did not pertain to her and she did not give me a duplicate receipt. I spend too much money to be treated with disrespect.

This is an awesome discount store with varying prices ($5, $3, $1 etc) depending on the day of the…read moreweek and when they were restocked with fresh inventory. The concept of the store is basically pallets of returned merchandise are made available for you to pick and choose items you want to buy individually at a flat rate per item. The days with most selection is higher price, and decreases as it gets picked over daily before it gets restocked and goes back to higher rate. The "bins" are essentially long tables piled high with a random assortment of items, most of which appear to be online returns from big retailers. It's a true treasure hunt where you literally dig around never knowing what you are going to uncover! The majority of the items are normally self explanatory as far as what they are and can be in varying condition from brand spanking new to possibly used or damaged. You definitely want to assess what you are buying since everything is sold "as is". It also helps to be familiar with the white barcode sticker with item description (on most every item from amazon) because it helps identify item, size, style, etc. If something is boxed or bagged to where you can't identify it through the packaging then they are happy to open it for you and figure out what it is! They do ask that you don't open packaging yourself which is understandable to try and keep an item's pieces all together amidst the chaos of the bins!

It came with no instructions, the hardware was thrown in a ziplock bag (with a whole in it, therefore some tightening rings were missing. Got done building it, went to put the slats across and they are too short. I measure the bed across. The one end across nearest the headboard was 57" across and the other size is 56" across near the bottom board. I measured the full size bed that I have and its 2 years old..true to fit, full size bed....its 54". You can't take your items back as you buy "as is" but I was ASSURED it was all there and correct. I am now out of $100 with no bed to use. I feel VERY disappointed..mostly in myself for not doing measuring, which I never thought I should have to, but more importantly that I TRUSTED these people to be on the up and up.

Shannon and this amazing store have been open since September '17 so don't feel like you've been under a rock if you've not seen her storefront. However, I saw some crafts outside the door and a sign that said Unique and Chic so decided to walk inside. I'm so glad that I did because I love seeing creative, artistic, crafts . . . This is a collection of independent vendors so you have to walk and check each one out. One of the first vendor had metal one word signs on wood, some with hooks to hang coat/hat/etc. Others had adorable outfits -- Tiger fans may want to look at the next booth. There were painted furniture with Bible verses on them, others had home decor. Jewelry, and I happen to come across at the back, a workshop that just finished. A couple women had just completed painting on wooden piece through Southernhomemade and will now be able to hang up for the Christmas season. You can book your own party with them. The biggest challenge is since these are all independent vendors who don't hang by their booth, one can peruse and if want to purchase an item or two, there was an employee at the cash register. There are definitely some cute and unique gifts, just in time for the holidays!

Yes it is full of all kinds of goodies from inexpensive to well very high priced! We started our walk around and found many items to buy for Christmas, but we settled on being a bit conservative on our buying spree! We bought some great craft clocks one for us and one for my mom. The best part of this store is what happened after we left! We got back to the Magnolia Manor where we were staying in Westminster which is down the road from Seneca. JoAnn the owner contacted me and asked if I had received a phone call from the Red Door? I said i hadn't and asked why I would? While at the store we had talked to the owner about where we were staying and what we were doing in the upstate, you know, general small town conversation. Well when we left the store we had accidentally left one of our bags behind. The owner went out of his way to contact us! He called JoAnn at Magnolia Manor and she contacted Brandon who was in Seneca getting a haircut and he said he would pick it up! I love small town America and honest small business folk! If any of you are in the area please gift this shop your business. Best customer service story ever!
