When we first starting working together, I was at a stressful and frustrating point in my career and considering a change. We dove deep and explored every option, leaving no stone unturned. We developed methods to evaluate every potential route I could have taken, discussed the pros and cons of big decisions, and worked together to create a vision of my future that I wanted--then made a plan to achieve it. Mara was excellent at helping me figure out my strengths, my career criteria, my personality traits, and all the things that make up who we are, but we don't necessarily think about. I learned so much about myself through the process. Mara was thoughtful, organized, kind, and extremely supportive in every one of our sessions. She also has a great sense of humor and we make each other laugh a lot, which keeps our sessions fun. If you're considering working with a career coach or life coach, know that it's a relationship and relationships require work from both sides. This isn't a service where you answer a few questions then someone tells you what job you should have. There are Buzzfeed quizzes for that. With Mara, I brought ideas to the table and we worked through them together. She provided resources, tools, and a framework to guide my thinking. She brought her own ideas to the table and we discussed them. There was homework. Research. Big things to think about. Lots of introspection outside of our 1-hour sessions. I've since started a new chapter in my career and I continue to work with Mara for her guidance on leadership, balance, and where to devote my energy. She's a wonderful coach and an awesome human being.

I am now in a rewarding analytics role and feel confident in my new professional identity. Thank you Coach Campbell!

She is patient, kind and thoughtful and speaks my language: I've had other therapists to whom I needed to explain a slang term, or how a Twitter exchange impacted my mental health. Leslie gets it and also deeply understands the various cultural tensions at play in the Bay Area, meaning I can spend less time explaining and more time healing and growing. I always feel I'm able to be honest with Leslie and never need to self-censor, or worst of all, hide something from her. The non-judgemental environment, coupled with approachable, actionable feedback around my concerns has helped me make huge strides. I would (and do!) happily recommend Leslie to anyone looking for a grounded yet worldly therapist in the Bay Area and beyond.

Roslyn Whitney, MS was recommended to me by a friend. Given the name of the company, "Graceful…read moreTransitions," I expected someone expert at equipping people to understand and effectively engage important transitions in relationships and life experiences. Roslyn's methods for directly strengthening my relationship with my wife in a period of transition were earnest. However, there was inadequate time to delve into our underlying relationship dynamic and the serious challenges that a big move to the Philippines would exert on us as a couple and as individuals. In this sense, I did not feel adequately prepared. I would have preferred more time spent on exploring the implications of such a move for our paths than developing methods that may or may not work in a far different context. We only had time and funds to go for five sessions, so this also was a factor. As I edit this review after a couple of years, Roslyn's help did work in unexpected ways. Whatever was not provided by her, I learned to develop for myself. I learned to adapt and decide, to initiate and develop my talents. So in the end, I am in a good place. Roslyn works in good faith. Her "live and let live" philosophy will work for some and not for others. (I am an Aries, so, as you can imagine, it wasn't my preferred style.) Roslyn is kind, soft-spoken, calming, and perceptive. She lends a productive introspection to the future, but is less strong on producing the tools and foundation to develop stronger direct engagement with intense changes. Couples counseling is very tough work especially when dealing with emerging fundamental philosophical differences between spouses. If this is your situation, It would be better to get a counselor professionally certified in couples or pastoral counseling and/or read "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" (John Gottman) and do the exercises. In sum, if you are a fairly aligned couple or open-minded individual looking for some clarity, Roslyn will suit you. If your relationship involves lack of alignment or contention over core issues, it would probably be better to see someone else.

I love working with Roz! and you will to. :)…read more Professional, spiritual, grounded. I scheduled an appointment with Sasha for BaZi, Chinese astrology. The session was not only eye opening, but confirmed some things I suspected about myself. She gave me information about my past, my future path, characteristics unique to me, areas to focus on, and more. I found her to be approachable and extremely knowledgeable about BaZi and Feng Shui as well. She gave me "homework", which I followed diligently! To say that it was life changing would be an understatement! Months later, I was finding that my apartment just did not feel right. Something was off, some things dissatisfying. So I called Sasha to schedule a classical Feng Shui session. She now only worked with what she knew about me from our BaZi session, but did Feng Shui on my apartment itself, and it revealed amazing information about where I live. As it turns out, it is a great place for me to be. She spent 3 hours with me, focusing on auspicious areas and how to best use them for their intended Feng Shui purposes. I received concrete and user-friendly ideas on furniture placement , decorating, and how to maximize the potential I have here. I have found Sasha to be an expert in her field, and an incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic practitioner. She is so friendly and approachable, and I have the utmost respect for her. I see how diligent her practice is, and how much she loves what she does. I look forward to working with her every year!

The amount of time that she takes to analyze and speak to you about your life and goals are priceless beads of information that she will discuss in your consulatation. Since I consulted with Sasha Lee in 2015 for my parents' home, she mirrored a lot of my concerns about that house. We set up a plan of action then that got me results, so when I changed residence, I knew I needed to consult with her again. She brought Finola with her again (on a crazy rainy and windy day!!) and they analyzed my home...asked me what my goals were and what problems may occur...and gave suggestions. Listening to these wonderful ladies and their suggestions, kept my head busy as far as the short term and long term goals and plans. Don't get me wrong, there is no magic wand that can zap away life's issues. However, if there was some sort of insight you could receive in improving your life's circumstances, why not try feng shui? There are some things you'd have to invest in such as self motivation, being open minded, time, money, and patience to see results. But if you're looking to try classical feng shui...because there is a difference between Western and Classical and I have tried both (I'd go with Classical personally), do an in person consult with her. I have tried to wing it myself and she pointed out on our very first meeting that I probably had a rough month since I placed my fountain in the wrong area...she was right. =) Sometimes there are things in life you can't change and other things you can. Why not change the things that you have control over?
