There are many highlights and advantages to PNA. The downside is there seems to be a lack of communication and transparency. Each teacher seems to set their own curriculum and classroom standards. Academics could be more challenging. No hot lunch except for pizza Monday's. Tuition is one of, if not the highest in anchorage. Overall is suits our needs as we are only here two years but we will definitely add some tutoring this summer to make sure our kids don't fall behind the lower 48's standards.

One of the maintenance men saw my situation and was very, very helpful in getting my tire changed and getting me out of the driveway in time to avoid the afternoon student pickup rush. I visited East High as a coach for football…read more I can't say much about the inside other than to say the locker rooms were clean. The parking lots and entrances are the main focus of this post. There are lots of entrances, but not ease of movement between them. If you're going to a football game, you'll want to enter from Bragaw street. There are two parking lots. If you're coming from Northern lights you'll want to turn right on the road past the back edge of the school nearly to the housing development. I think they should install signage directing people to try field (and other locations). I spent quite a bit of time entering parking lots only to exit them because they weren't connected.

She said they would love to put it up on display so everyone could see it. So after a few months they called her and said they were ready to pick up the 1954 color television and put it on display. So I'm 2008 when I was there she took me to this university to show me what they did with it. I was honestly in shock how they did the history of the Tv set and wrote a nice story about the Tv and about my grandmother's donation. It's a very nice university and I was very proud to see that her Tv is still on display there. In 2014 when she passed away I went back to this university to see if it was still there. And sure enough it was still there looking like the day they received it. Brings smiles to me when I think about it. So if you're ever in the area go check it out.

Let's be clear, my only affiliation with this school is because it's my voting location…read more I think I will request to change my polling place because of the last couple of voting experiences. One time I was handed a republican choice instead of making the choice myself as I am non-partisan and I like to make educated choices. After a bit of a haggle I was finally given both to make one choice, either Dem or Rep. I also take issue with this as non-partisan I should be able to choose across party lines. This last time, voting for POTUS which I will now refer to as POTATO, the machine that accepts the file was malfunctioning so that I had to take it out of the privacy slip and slowly feed it. Of course the guy manning the machine was using slips and his body to shield my vote, it was apparently beyond the school to build a make shift privacy curtain. Bah! Ruin my voting life!
