I leave there upset and not uplifted. On one hand stay away form people that pull you down and the other we have to help the lost world. I also don't like the gloom and doom teachings of the Assembly of God. God loves me but i better watch out and be careful? what kind of crap is that? lol Praise and worship is nice. There is a very talented guitar player and a girl that can really blow!! I also find it cute that the band is largely made up of family members.

The church in Cashiers has become a mission church of this congregation and when Cashiers doesn't have a mass on Sunday, there's mass here. The church itself in small, but nice inside. Love the mountain view stained glass window (it's huge). The mass was solid. The priest did a good job making us all think about ourselves and to laugh. He invited people to stand up and talk when he asked if there was anyone who had intentions we could pray for and then later when he asked anyone if they had good news or announcements at the end of mass. Honestly these went on way too long (and some lady got up twice - rude) so take that all with a grain of salt. We brought our 7 month-old and the cry room was great. He and another baby were quite loud in there, yet it didn't seem like anyone sitting right outside could hear us. Wish the volume was a bit louder in there, but that's a bit picky.

I…read morearrived early for Reconciliation but there wasn't a line and the priest was thoughtful and kind. It's obviously built in the 70's or 80's so it's a somewhat non-traditional church but there are beautiful doors and possibly the most comfortable cushioned pews that I have ever had the pleasure of sitting on.
