Laser: Cleo, who does the laser removal here, is so nice and friendly. She knows what she's doing, and she made a very painful experience for me a little easier. I would always look forward to seeing her and having a little chat. I appreciated her knowledge and expertise when it came to having my tattoo removed. Tattoo: There is a vibe here that I find a bit off-putting. Sometimes the people at the front desk have been courteous, but often aloof to the point of unfriendly. I feel quite unwelcome in the space, and the artist who did a matching tattoo for my friend and me really didn't seem to want to be doing it (we had asked and made sure he was ok with it, and he agreed). I would come back her for laser removal, but not tattooing (unless there was a specific artist who I wanted to see).

I park at Tinseltown and go over sometimes (if tat is under two hrs), but super easy to just transit - shop sits on a one way street, if driving - be prepared to pay a deposit aft the consult ($100 usually)

I drove in from Abbotsford (over an hour just to get to the studio) to find out that Kiti did not even know about my appointment. After scrambling to get things ready and having me wait, I suggested they just rebook the appointment as this whole experience was now feeling very rushed. I felt like an inconvenience to them even though I was on time and ready for my appointment. Nothing was offered to compensate for the time wasted (over 4 hours of driving time wasted with the original appointment and the rescheduled one). I was really amped and excited for the appointment, overall this ruined my experience with Kiti. Hope this doesn't happen to anything else. I would suggest calling them or messaging them to confirm your appointment, especially if you're driving further out like I had too. Tattoo looked great though.

I first met with the manager of GT - Mendoza a few weeks ago & he set up my appointment with the lovely Breann - a hand tattoo specialist. I emailed her my tattoo design ideas & she worked some magic into really amazing miracle designs! I was very pleased & will be going back in the near future!!! Local artistic paintings hang on the walls & are for sale. The artwork is really amazing! Wouldn't you like to see what I got!?? Sorry no can do - ink is still fresh & my skin is screaming murder!!! TW Self Harm/Suicide…read more Posting on here and not their renamed vampire tattoo because I came when it was still pennyblack. I came a few years ago with my mom for a consultation with Keith. I was 16 and wanted a small, meaningful tattoo to cover my self harm scars. I had been very sick and suicidal for a few years and wanted a small tattoo over my wrist area to represent my healing from that. I had never done anything like this and was nervous. He was very rude and downright mean; seemed to take pleasure in mind fucking a teenage girl in a very vulnerable place. We stuck it out because it was so important to me, but he was abusive. Told me he knew people with such bad self harm habits they couldn't sleep unless they cut, that my scars were barely visible and he'd seen way worse, and pushed me to talk about gruesome details even though I was visibly uncomfortable (he made fun of how uncomfortable I clearly was). He then told a 16 year old that I shouldn't get the small piece I wanted because it would ruin the potential for a sleeve, and "women are sexier with sleeve tatts." It went on for over an hour of him ruthlessly tearing me down, asking me where my dad was, etc. I left and had a panic attack in the car, and was scared of tattoo artists for years. I now have multiple pieces and every artist has been kind and gentle- downright angelic compared to him. I saw the studio answer a review stating that this is his humour and basically saying tough luck, but I hope someone has since held him accountable and explained to him that it's not humour, it's abuse. I haven't interacted with him since and don't know if he's the same, but I hope for the world's sake that he's grown and become a decent person with basic compassion skills. If you're new and vulnerable like I was and digging into reviews of him and the studio enough to get here, I hope this helps. Don't go to him if you're sensitive or have an idea that's personal and painful. He'll happily poke at the wound. I'm all for edgy humour but this was in no universe that at all. Can't speak to his work because I would never trust him with my body in any capacity.
